Personally, I cannot sing with music sadly I sing for fun, found my own way and it works but karaoke throws me off so maaaaaaybe for u its harder to hear youself and know when you're off key when the musics on. Try acapella next time it might work better.

I think, for a boy you have a very high register. However, you should monitor yourself and realize you definitely cannot hit some of these high notes. Your voice is generally nice, but can use some practice in terms of tone and pitch.

I don't know what you used, but your mike is not supportive of a comforting sounds, either.
