how to change your fan speed by 100%(in HD)

Dude i have a motherboard form gigabyte (p55-usb3) and i have bought a new fan Viper from akasa to cool my hard drives so i plugged it in to a SYS_FAN2 conector.. and this thing is just so loud runs at 1800 rpm. and i tryed anything from your videos about speedfan to someone others.. so can u help me ? i cant get this fan recognized to lower the rpm ( but it does show fan2 : 1800 rpm on the speed fan i just cant lower it) please help

@zanfromslovene Maybe you wanna check with gigabyte and see if they have a software that can control fans control. Like i said in most of the comments. Not all motherboard supports Speedfan

@runar144 Like i said in most of the comments, Not all PC or Laptops will work on Speedfan due to unknown reason. Some is that the software can't go through the motherboard chip that controls the fan

i deleted speed fan... it works fine then like a week or so it's stops detecting my cpu temps... annoying and it never sped up my cpu fan anyways. only my gpu's.

@IVIANZOR BIOS Or Basic Input/output system is the most important thing in the motherboard. Its control the whole motherboard like fan speed, Change which one to boot first and so on. For newer motherboards it can overclock their CPU in the BIOS.

@IVIANZOR Every motherboard have a BIOS. For some older motherboard when u want to enter the BIOS u have to press Delete and for newer motherboard u have to press F2 or F10(depending on the motherboard) and sorry i do not do overclocking at all. U can search in google. :D
