We actually rarely use personal money for cases. For the most aprt we sell everything we pull to buy the next cases. Money in, money out and so on

It means that UD manufactured them themselves. It's not necessarily a bad thing but its definitely not as cool as if they would have been game used but it would be far too hard to get rookie game used nameplates that quickly so I guess thats all they can do.

Nope, UD just produces the nameplates in one of their factories somewhere. These nameplates have never gone anywhere near a jersey.
