The issue of this film was the truthfulness of Fox's reporting. They got caught promoting something that wasn't true. Of course, Kaelke was guilty of waisting ACORN's time by playing with these kids but I don't really think that's such an egregious crime that ACORN should be shut down & its executives put in prison.

I understood they have been defunded. So it's come to the personal attacks, always the sign of a weak argument or someone who feels weak. I'll give you the whole voter registration thing. The whole idea of farming out voter registration to any organization is just plain stupid. Here it's all done by the govt. I did it a few years ago. We got paid by the hour & had no quotas.
You don't seem to mind criminals as long as they work for the military-industrial complex & steal millions from Americans.

I admit to being weak. I'm answering this post which is pretty dumb of me because it's totally pointless. I was talking about voter registration in Canada. It's NOT paid for by quota like it was at ACORN. The racist rant came from the fact that it has been suggested that the real anger against ACORN is due to the fact that they register poor, nonwhite voters who vote mostly democrat. I was just wondering. Obviously your so far above all that. You can rest easy, I'm sure ACORN will be destroyed.

FOX's ratings are high for the same reason that "American Idol's" ratings are high. When the ground has shifted undernearth one's feet (without their awareness or their asssent) you're gonna hear the LOUDEST screams from THEIR corner of the room. FOX makes much more noise. Fear and anger always turns heads on the sidewalk.
FOX shouts BECAUSE America is no longer all white, fat and Republican.

If "covering the news" means that Glenn Beck puts Vicks Vapo-Rub underneath his eyes to produce "tears," then maybe you're right. If Sean Hannity does not correct his reporting errors on the air the way the MSNBC and CNN veterans do, then you might be right. If you can see clips of last year's Obama "terrorist fist bump" Fox 'punditry or their "fair & bananced" assertion that the president's daughters "show signs of abuse" without laughter and alarm, then maybe you are right.

What has happened recently has been more of the same--ACORN smears over non-existent "voter fraud," --the heart of the U.S. Attorney scandal.
I suggest you read BradBlog or Greg Palast for some unimpeachable background. The truth remains that there is no proof of ACORN voter fraud. Yet the smear is effective.

The burden of proof is on the person making the claim, so you would have to prove its true.
For starters, I'd say if there was a god, he'd find a MUCH MORE efficient way of revealing himself than by having a human sacrafice in the desert in the bronze age amongst illiterate and paranoid peasants, counting on this 'news' to spread by word of mouth, to which it has yet to reach certain peoples.
If you're stupid enough to believe that, than you can believe anything.
