  • Look, if you don't stand behind the troops, get your ass out of your computer chair and stand in front of them. No one wants you.

  • small things like this are the things that remind us why we fight on. If it wasn't for our American civilians who support us we would lose all motivation.

    PFC Graniela

  • love it

  • @Rambo1447 Luke is a fagget and he doesnt know he is

  • Love you guys!

  • I usually throw a beer bottle pull of piss at these cowards hahahahah!

  • @VuDu4000

I agree. I have woken up since posting this.

  • @AdamDiddy

    The soldiers are terrorists?!

  • @VuDu4000 who are the real terrorists if you are talking about the people who are serving their country they are heros

  • @carguyzo6 They might serve but I wouldn't call them heroes. You say you are down there so you can be free and they are defending your freedom, but that's just bullshit. You are defending nothing in the Middle East, but the profits of oil companies, defense contractors and Israel. The war for your freedom was fough many many years ago against the Brits, not Middle East on lies. Money for war, but none for you Americans at home. Time to stop this war now.

  • Who are they celebrating? The zionist? The weapon industry?

    Its a fucking lie morons...

  • if u dont support your troops feel FREE to stand in front of them!!!!!!!!!!!!! usmc forever iraq war vet

  • Fuck the army. American soldiers are as bad as Taliban. Killing children and civilists, you fucking basterds. God bless America and kills al muslims?! No way.

  • respect from the Netherlands

  • Amazing commercial... Wow. I am a vet of OEF and OIF, and this really, really hit home for me. I remember this moment when I came home, and there were several people who thanked me. It was so heartwarming. This almost made me cry man. Great commercial.

  • Hey Carlos it's pretty funny how you bitch but don't do anything to help anybody. People who took down our twin towers are innocent? Stop listenin to your mom and dad and watch a REAL news channel and you will find out how our military helps MULTIPLE different countries. Thanks you to all of those in the military.

  • @CarlosRex19

what the fuck is your problem man...

  • Why in France Army is hated by 75% of the population?

    (Et vive l'Armée Française)

  • @ghilliedu25

No offence or anything, but alot of ppl look at the french for being pussies bac in the world wars.... especially when they used to run, and have us (canadians) defend the line!

  • us soldiers are here to keep you free if you don't like that then screw you we rick our lives to save innocent citizens we do not go to the middle east to fight we are there helping them survive their own country

  • oh yeah your right woman and children being raped and killed on the streets under the wrath of sadam hussain lets not help them... son of a bitch its not the soldiers fault for serving their country they didnt even choose to invade iraq

  • The great thing is that this actually happens. I travel a lot for business and have been part of something like this.

Regardless of your viewpoint on the war(s) we should always thank those who serve.

  • I was about to say the same thing...the best thing is that this actually happens.

  • Thank you to all Americans that have served, are currently serving, and will serve in the United States Armed Forces. I hope to serve in the military in my life and follow in your great foot steps.

  • Anheuser Busch is a company, the beer it manufactures is the product. And so what if it is beer, I dont see Disney or other bright and dandy companies spending their money on a commercial like this one. And before you speak why dont you do a little research on a company before talking shit.

  • this honestly tears me up everytime i see it. i teared up a little when they did it for me when i came home. thats all us servicemembers want. a thank you

  • fuck you vrz07 you don't know what it is like do you

  • Reasons for a standing ovation:

    1) Soldiers returning home.

    2) Everything else.

  • At some point every soldier has written a check to the United States of America for an amount "up to and including my life"

  • touching commercial, but i agree. it seems kind of messed up that it's marketing beer..capitalizing on something like this seems kind of low

  • Fuck this commercial... advertising beer? really? fucking assholes. and theres usually a ceremony its not like soldiers just come home and no ones cares... stupid fucking commercial.

  • @andrewtorpedo it was sponsored by the beer company its not really advertising it just showing they paid for it

  • i am 30......15 years old ago i drop my last tears,,until now. We fight against terrorist here in Peru too (southamerica) but people here didnt care.

  • Americans are just great peoples :-)

  • By far the greatest commercial i have ever seen in my life! HOOAH!

  • May God bless their hearts. Cos following a command and putting your life down for some shit that dosent really make sense to most of them is awesome!!!!

  • thank each and everyone of you you all had a very tough job

  • Your pay is low, thank a politician.

Your getting paid, thank a soldier.

  • That's must feel friggin awesome! Always gets me chills

  • Thanks for the comment. I see your point. Now shaddup and logout

  • HEY U STUPID ASS... DONT BE HERE TALKING SHIT... U WANT TO DO SOMETHING 4 UR ALLAH...? GO THERE AND FIGHT THE US SOLDIERS.... PUT A BOMB ON UR ASS OR SOMETHING.... si...

  • When I returned last time, they had hundreds of people greeting and cheering us as we went through the airport, hugs and kisses, lots of happy people and welcomes... Thank you

Btw, I am redeploying next month

  • thank you. for everything.

  • What a beautiful video - most of these men and women are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as volunteers - My infinite respect to them.

  • im enlisting in the army and i dont care if i have to go to iraq and fight its my dream to serve my country no matter what....!!!

  • I'm right behind you. I will be there when I turn 18.

  • im totally agree, ill be right there to serve our country

  • and ill be there 4 years after to make sure you dont do anything stupid :D

  • God Bless them

  • Do not express anger against the American people, my sorrow is against the American government and its political self-centered.

    Forgive me the misunderstanding.

  • Forgive me if at some point I thought the soldiers.

Indeed, as well as the whole world, we see the U.S. policy as imperialist, who kills his people and money people outside.

The American soldiers are martyrs in the hands of Presidents fanciful as G. Bush is.

I hope that with the victory of Obama, will change this scenario.

That instead of oppression, the U.S., could go to the World, a peaceful country.

  • I appreciate your service.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    D. Baker

    Pittsburgh, PA.

  • God bless you guys, i am so grateful we gt ppl like these going out to defend us, and to all yu nobheads out there that slag us off, you try going out there and not knowing if u see ur kids again yer fort not, goddam idiots u r!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A nation that has blood on the hands, he killed people worldwide, with arms, with hunger and with contempt.

  • These ladies and gentlemen were put in harms way, often by no choice of their own.

Your comment is pointless with regard to these fine folk's service. We owe them a debt of gratitude - many had no choice - like Vietnam, they served, shed blood and lost friends.

Shame on you for being so narrow minded to not, at your very least, thank them for their sacrifice.

They are not the "nation" these are the people, trying to do what they can do - under horrible political circumstances.

    Get a clue.

  • The American people were deceived by advertisements of the Bush administration, where we have seen, cheering those who committed murders in Iraq, because it wanted the oil?

Forgive me American, but because you are blind is that they are losing the hegemony of Empire.

  • Thank you for this video

  • USA,EU millitary at 1990 till 2008 SUCK, They ar so stupit to go into the fight, look at the ppl at V'nam, they didnt had a chooice, and if they returned to their famely's, they didnt want to talk about it cuz it was worse, and scarry and shit, but the soldiers from 1990 till Here, they ar talking how nice and how they deserved their country, and they where yelling about how good and nice they ar!

FUCK YOU BITCHES, U DONT KNOW WHAT REAL WAR IS!!!!!

  • and obviously you cant spell for shit. Not all the soldiers in nam got drafted dumbass. and some actually volunteer to go....I believe that's a choice.

  • hoo ah is just the army.

  • ummmm... this is NOT the army. it's the marines. dont degrade the marines. i love the army but they are different. the armed forces are for branches. not just one big "army" it's the marines, army, air force, and navy

  • Actually, the Marines are a branch of the Navy.

  • Marines are a department of the Navy.

    The MEN's department

  • True that

  • Yes, beer is the ultimate symbol of American freedom. Thats what soldiers are fighting for overseas...beer right?

    hah, thats goofy man.

  • lol clown commercial

  • Yes it's a commercial, but that kind of thing really happens, and they deserve that gratitude, regardless of if you agree with the reasons they are fighting or not.

  • just like the nazi's deserved the gratitude of germany whether the german (or jewish) ppl agreed with the reasons or not?

c'mon! there were no WMD's. iraq wasn't a threat to us.

  • So now you're comparing Iraq to the Holocaust? The last time I checked, people aren't being rounded up, being put on trains, and taken to concentration camps to become victims of a genocidal regime. People aren't being killed because of their religious beliefs, disabilities, sexual orientation, or just because they disagree with the government.

  • well there may not be much of that but here's a list of some of the bad stuff;

Haditha killings (24 civilians), Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse, Gang-rape/murder of a 14-year-old girl and murder of her family, torture and killing of POW Iraqi General Abed Hamed Mowhoush, Bombing and shooting of 42 civilians (Mukaradeeb), Planting weapons on noncombatant, unarmed Iraqis by 3 US Marines after killing them,

and.....WAR. (all with no WMD's found.)

  • in a comparison, there are both similarities and differences. USA is not nazi. but they can be compared to the nazi's bc they are both war mongers. they both went to war with no real reason other than they could. and just like the nazi soldiers, our soldiers don't deserve a clap. who deserves applause are the war resisters and objectors who refused to take part in war crimes, both US and nazi.

no wmd = illegal war = war crime

  • You missed the point. You don't have to support the war or the reasons for it. Soldiers go to war because the they are ordered to. Not because they want to. If you want to blame someone, blame the government, not the soldiers. And by the way, war resisters and objectors were also killed in Nazi Germany. If you didn't go along with the program, you died.

  • my original comment is a rely to da40flyer (3 months ago).

i agree with not supporting the war and calling the gov't to task (as democratic ppl should)

i understand the solz are in a bit of a sticky situation if the war is illegal or wrong (which it is).

and USA doesn't execute resisters and objectors now.

now let's say the UK sends solz in an unprovoked attack against canada, and level it to the ground. should the UK solz be clapped when the return home?

i think it implies support for the war.

  • I respectfully disagree that it implies support for the war. It shows support for the people who volunteered to serve their country and go perform a mission which whether or not they agreed with the reasons why they went, they went.

  • ok, so ans me this. if china, unprovoked, declares war and overthrows india, or russia marches on the US with no real reason, or if they launched those missiles in cuban crisis, should the chinese or russian solz be applauded when they return home?

i say they shouldn't. i don't have much of a problem with the solz, but clapping them implies support for the cause (unprovoked war).

im a big fan of solz usually, but in this case im unsure.

  • u must admit that watching this u get a certain surge of patriotism. but isn't that patriotism misplaced? shouldn't we feel disgust, not at the solz, but the gov't that sent them there?

  • It's ok if you don't think they should. But there is a distinct difference in the 2 countries you cited in that both of those countries have mandated military service. US/UK soldiers volunteer. It is simply thanking them for serving their country. Even the end of the commercial on the video simply says "thank you".

  • These people sacrificed. We owe them thanks and gratitude.

Forget the politics, these are Americans...doing what they can under horrific circumstances and extreme personal sacrifice to serve YOU.

Thank you, all of you - all veterans for our service.

I am grateful, as should be - all of us.

It is not about politics, it is about family and blood and service.

    Thank you.

  • maybe the worlkd can solve your own problems then instead of us

  • One of the best commercials ever made.

  • you guys no this is a budweiser commercial rite?

  • actors or not, it gets a point across.

  • Too bad the soliders are all actors. You'd think costume design for the commercial would AT LEAST GET SOME INSIGNIA ON THEIR UNIFORMS!!!!

  • They're real servicemen but there's some law that prevents commercials from having insignia or service branch tapes on DCUs.

  • Thanks to all the soldiers, who, through the generations have stood out in front of EVERYTHING that has ever threatened this country.

Remember: if you can read this thank a teacher. If it's in english thank a soldier!

  • Thank you guys for the kind words! It makes a Airman/Soldier/Sailor proud to hear that people care for us.

  • actually you ungreatful little puke, this has and continues to happen. maybe if you could see past the end of your nose you would realize that these heroes absolutely deserve thanks and praise whether or not you support that particular war. if you are in this country please leave. i hear the sunis are looking for help perhaps they could use you to practice decapitation.

  • Thank you soldiers that have served over seas!

  • It's a shame you think the goal in Iraq is to beat down Iraqis. Remember Saddam swearing the UN inspectors would never be allowed to do their job there, or how he swore we would be wiped out instantly (or something along those lines) if we invaded. It seemed pretty obvious he was hiding something. If peace can be achieved there, how could it ever be worse for the Iraqis than it was under Saddam, as he, his sons, and his regime were known for genocide, theft, and rape.

  • Its a commercial. You only need to look at the American polls to see the majority say the attack on the Iraqis was a fraud. There is nothing to say thankyou for. The Iraqis did nothing to the U.S. Which explains why the tiny pro-attack cell need to make commercials about non existent events.
