ITS BASTILA not Bashila! Revan was exactly what the republic needed. The whole republic would have fallen had it not been for Revan and Malak taking arms agains the mandalorians. A lot is known about Revan. He was a jedi, and as all jedi his family was recorded - his parents and siblings. For anyone who has talked to Kreie in KOTOR2, you know Revan was a traditional jedi (cooler than any on the council at the time..)

In one of the cutscenes of KOTOR is says that the "New Sith War" started when Revan and Malak returned. They could cover for this by saying the Jedi Civil War was "also known as" the New Sith War. Or something like that. Both are true, from a certain point of view.

this is going to be an awesome game. but now that ive read up on all this star wars stuff, i must say im gonna miss kreia from kotor 2 that chick was hardcore. and revan and the exile must have done something extreme i seriously doubt bioware will let them just be murdered, plus revan was like looking into the heart of the force, and the exile was stronger then any she'd ever trained.... does that include revan?

@thuzan117 This isn't about his mask, this is about most of the facts being wrong. For example: If you played KotOR, you should know that Malak is a beast of a man standing at 2 meters (6 feet 8) and yet Revan is portrayed to be even taller than Malak and that is something not true. And since you mentioned it Bastila WAS a Padawan, you'd know that if you played KotOR, feel free to check. When talking back, you should use the rank she was, so it's still wrong. Sooooo... douche.

The only thing I don't like us how the Jedi found revan unconscious when he was supposed to be fighting Castile and then get struck and second bastila wasn't in the command tower when revan fought malak but other then that it was a good story and explains alot

I'm a Star Wars fan and I must say that how many things they've changed or mistaken from KotOR really worries me. One thing is Revan's mask which is completely red while in KotOR it was black with a red engraving and a visor. Then there is Bastila Shan who was mispronounced as Bashila Shan and is reported as a Jedi Master while only being a Jedi Padawan. There is also no record of her rare ability of battle meditation. Not to mention the battle that transpired on the bridge of Revan's ship...

@deadSilencePredator umm.....first of all this is looking in retrospect from 300 in the future!!!!! secondly who gives a shit what color revans helmet was and how does that affect the story? we've got better graphics now they wanted to revitalize it. thirdly and my god this is so painfully obvious bastilla obviously did not stay a padawan or rather a knight since that's what rank she was in the first game for the rest of her life. fucksake she talked like she was close. Soooo...douche.

@deadSilencePredator actually i think that's supposed to be intentional. bioware's doing these from an in-universe perspective. so the guy "making" these lived 300 years after the jedi civil war, so he's bound to get some details wrong. i read that on the wookiepedia page.

interestingly enough they did accidentally mess up on the star forge's age. in the vid it's stated as being over 25 centuries old when it's really over 25,000 (25 centuries=2500 years)

I thought the star forge itself was the reason for their corruption,it was said the ruins and the ship itself had dark force energy.The star forge using the life and energy of the sun to construct the army.The advance race itself that build the star forge and it'stechnology became victim to it's own creation,corrupting them,to the point it split it's race into fraction,that kept separate and war from each for 2500yearsif I'mcorrect.But this story here,is really good I love to see where this goes

@GunerzPGBC How would a Jedi who lives three hundred years after the events surrounding Revan and Malak know what happened on Dromund Kaas when they encountered the Sith Emperor? Perhaps more will be known once The Old Republic will be released, but it was inappropriate at the time of this timeline's release to make any deliberate revelations.
