Might be a stupid question but how do I down the speeds on a Raleigh Cadent One.Zero bike? I was able to to switch the speeds but I couldnt bring them back down...

I like the Shim. 105 Competion. Possibly the best value machine there. I have a UK 2010 Team Avanti. Do the UK carbon bikes use the same frame?

Ahhh Idk these bikes are really good but I think I like my GIANT better. But If I do ever get a new bike It would be a Trek.

@IROCK80551 Do not get a Trek unless you are a serious racer. Treks are all about aluminum and carbon. Steel is for real and steel rides MUCH better that aluminum. I love steel bikes but I don't own a Raleigh. Wish I did.

The Record Ace is a rip off, you could buy the Specialized Allez double steel with the same Renoylds 520 for 600 dollars.

@thomasward00 except the record ace is like 19.5 pounds and has ultegras. the allez has 2300s and all around cheap componentry. thats like complaining that BMWs are ripoffs compared to kias.

OK, there's a little discrepancy in this video that is throwing me off. At 1:00, he says the average weight of these bikes is 930 grams. He then says that an independent source weighed the bike and reported the weight at 14.1 POUNDS! So according to Raleigh, their bike weighs slightly higher than 2 pounds, but in Vegas it weighs 14?

Awesome. I have a Nottingham, UK built 1989 Raleigh Record Ace; Reynolds 653, full Shimano Sante in metallic white.

I also have an '85 Road Ace & '85 Team Replica (Panasonic). Both Reynolds 531C.

What connection, if any, is there today between Raleigh UK & Raleigh USA. They have very different ranges.
