lolol, i always seem to enjoy Bay's movies, I'm an action girl for sure. Esplosions are the best, and i honestly loved how he directed the first transformers movie, it left a lot to the imagination when it came to the characters personalities, They had a sort of mystery to them. The second movie...for me, was just as good. So yes, i agree with this song, Micheal Bay has got the touch!

Bay is good for action movies that dont need a well thought out plot, so why he was allowed to Transformers, I'll never understand. True fans want action AND story. In the first movie, you barely see any personality from a Transformers who isnt Megatron or an Autobot. There is also no character development whatsoever for any character in any of the movies.

I really enjoyed both movies but the fact is they could have been a lot better.

I think Optimus put up a good fight, he shot megatron's shoulder off, fended him off, and you can see them both go back and forth while we're watching blackout approach, AND Prime swipes megatron right off his feet. Besides think about it, Megatron was almost twice his size, I'd say Optimus did a good job.... All the haters will be satisfied when revenge of the fallen comes out...

I also like how you think a film with character development cannot be entertaining and "fun." That is kind of absurd, to me. I mean, you can have really awesome, fast paced action films, with great(unique) characters, a clever script(little to know cliche's), and have coherent, stylized action sequences(where you can tell who is shooting at who through the thick cloud of ridiculous, over the top explosions).

I know a lot of people like Michael bay's films, and the dude rolls in the cash, but this does not make me more impressed with his work. Characters, even in action movies, are what truly make movies movies fun and entertaining. Also, Bay's scripts are cringing and infested with cheesy lines and worthless melo-dramas. And believe it or not, I hate his action, too. I think CGI shouldn't take over the film, like his films do.
