well her dad died in a car crash when she was young and then when she was about to put out her debut album, her mom got in a car crash and died. (or was it the other way around?) basically, both her parents died in car accidents and she's had a sad past =(

maybe thats how she makes everything so full of feeling. like all her songs make me want to cry.

you have to watch the first part, "whistle to me" thats the name its under on youtube.in the first version, its about 4 friends (2 guys, 2 girls) 2 of which get married. one of the girls is in an accident, which the other guy helps her get out of, but in that accident, she loses her hearing, whereas, i guess he starts having problems w/ his sight because the car exploded once he got her out of it. the thing is that the deaf girl likes the guy thats married and the other guy likes her.

so anyway, only the other girl knows that she's deaf, adn the guys dont know so when they go snowboarding, she grabs an mp3 player and starts listening to it on the base of the mountain, and when a snowboarder is about to crash into her, the other guy pushes out of the way and starts yelling at her, saying things liek "couldn't you hear him? do you like music this much?!?" and the married girl yells out, and says " she can't hear" and the deaf girl starts crying

so then in this part, the deaf girl is at the married couple's house when the guy who's starting to become blind comes over and then he leaves, dropping a medical report. and they read it, realizing that hes having problems seeing, they chase after him but its too late, the guy drives off lovers point (how sad) because he cant see and one year later, the deaf girl is at a piano, and she sees the box with the pictures the blind guy made for her and she starts remembering

the last thing the deaf girl said was something like "i changed my mine, i'll love you forever..." and i just asked my dad to translate the beginning of the first part for me and he said that it was something like the deaf girl fell in love with the guy that saved her, but i dunno wats up with the hints of her liking the other guy... hehe, sorry... this was a really long explanation
