The last album was down to her record label, she switched and they wanted her to do RnB. Anastacia is bringing her sprock sound back on the next album because that's what she wants to do. There was little time to record the last album which also played a part in it's mediocrity.

Her vocal ability isn't lost, it was bad when she came yes, but she's back to strength now, it's evident in the Here Come The Girls tour with Lulu and Chaka Khan, check out her Left Outside Alone performances !
