"Quizas" Lyrics. ("Maybe") Every time I ask you, when, how, and where you always answer: maybe, maybe, maybe. ... (Quizás, quizás, quizás) And that's how the days go by, and I'm desperate And you you keep answering: maybe, maybe, maybe. CHORUS: You are losing your time, thinking, and thinking. For the thing you love the most: when? when?? when? And that's how the days go by, and I'm desperated. And you, you keep answering: maybe, maybe, maybe. ... and repeats with the chorus.

¿Hasta cuándo?
Quizas Quizas Quizas means "perhaps perhaps perhaps" Wasnt that difficult to figure out if you know your music. Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps was sung by Doris Day and was probably one of her more famous tunes.
who knows means quien sabe, quizas = perhaps , tal vez = maybe!, "quizas" is a synonym of "tal vez" , my native language is Spanish, and for me quizas is a little bit more formal.
PolarEmerald, thank you for posting this most elegant and tasteful Wong Kar Wai film. Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung generate more heat and passion than most in Hollywood. Maggie wears those silk dresses like armour protecting her heart againest something she can't control. This is true glamour via early sixties Hong Kong.
i love when nat king cole sings in spanish or french...it's like all loungy and super american sounding, like the worst accent of all time...but you gotta love that silky voice, and the fact that he's goin for it...this song rocks the house!!!
@jordainetao The popular song 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' is the English translation of the same song. :) I suggest looking up the Doris Day or Cake versions.
Oops, apparently it is not a Spanish to English translation.... ""Quizás, Quizás, Quizás" (also known as "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" in English), is a popular song by Cuban songwriter Osvaldo Farrés.[1] Farrés wrote the original Spanish lyrics, as well as composing the 1947 hit. The English lyrics were written by Joe Davis and are not a translation of the Spanish lyrics." - From Wikipidia...
A stunning and shuddering movie that mesmerized me as it gripped me all at once. A film that delivered its powerful message with numbing clarity; take THAT chance!
@dararitt Last Life in the Universe is very good. It also features the work of frequent Wong Kar Wai cinematographer Christopher Doyle too. LLitU is a "slow boiler" and Chris Doyle's camera work does an extremely effective job of conveying it.
The deleted scenes were taken from the extra material from the video. In the mood for love is one of my favorite movies, and I agree with you it is an great movie.
i watched this film in my Intro to FIlm Art class and TOTALLY fell in love with it! (and got an A for a paper based on it :D :D :D) That was over a year ago. I should really go get the DVD myself and rewatch it :)
He is not only very famous in France but also in the rest of Europe. And France is well known for its good movie directors. Have you ever heard of Eric Rohmer, Claude Chabrol or what you call the Nouvelle Vague? If you are into movies you should watch one of these films.
