I like ovie, but I do agree with Don on this one. The celebration was planned and not necessary, especially when the game is already out of reach for the other team. Jumping at the glass, fistpumps, or anything done out of excitement is one thing but staged celebrations for a milestone you have already reached twice before is pushing it. okay, don, let's feel bad for the other team that sucks.....if they were good, they would pull their shit together. sorry, number 8's celebrating his 50th, and it just so happened it was against tampa. and also, his teammates told him to do this before the game, if you listened to the interview. yes, sportsmanship is good, but hockey's a lot more entertainment nowadays, and that was a pretty funny celebration.

I like ovie, but I do agree with Don on this one. The celebration was planned and not necessary, especially when the game is already out of reach for the other team. Jumping at the glass, fistpumps, or anything done out of excitement is one thing but staged celebrations for a milestone you have already reached twice before is pushing it. I do think ovechkin gets it though and probably won't do anything this excessive next time he gets 50 goals.
