But on the other hand, this is a pure example of "My Kung Fu Is Stronger Than Yours". Akasaka is a beast, and the one behind the first real Big Damn Heroes moment in this whole show.

Adding the music made it seem a bit too gaudy, I mean yes, it's "okay music", but come on, the real shocker here is - HOLY CRAP AKASAKA'S STILL ALIVE I FORGOT ABOUT HIM; I thought he was going to save Irie! - and not only does he take out the Yamainu at once he does it COMPLETELY out of nowhere. Considering he didn't exactly "win" his last fight and now he busts out these martial arts skills...

...see this is why Japan is orderly. Their cops are made of iron.

It's a visual novel/sound novel...considering that this type of game hasn't caught on outside of Japan, I highly doubt that such a thing would happen.

The closest thing you have to it in English is point-and-click adventure. Those types of game died out long ago.

No,it's not. You can buy Matsuri or Kakera Asobi(or the DS ones),but you probably won't understand it unless you remember the lines from the anime. But,some arcs aren't even animated..

The Tips can be seen online,animesuki forum,and most of Onikakushi has been fantranslated,but even then you still need to buy the original PC Onikakushi.

Just to let you know, the Higurashi game IS going to be released in English. I don't know how long it will be before it's out though
