I agree we don't need people everywhere. People often move to the middle of nowhere to get away from everyone. Next thing you know they are wanting a CVS, HomeDepot, McDonalds, 4 lane freeway and to know when the Sheriffs Dept. is going to get the moutain lion out of their rural back yard. Then they move to the middle of nowhere again and repeat.

Galapagos should have been one of those places where they don't allow people to inhabit. It should have been protected in order to protect all the rare species. Do we really need to be everywhere!

No, pretty much anyone can. Do a search on google for Galapagos Tours. I used a company called Adventure Life myself to book the trip, but there are tons of options.

you know thats funny! i just went to the Galapagos Islands with a friend around 8 months ago. looks like you took that 3 hour boat ride over to the mountain. we took lots of picture from the top too :) except on the way back i fell asleep on the top of the boat and my feet got scorched 3 days from sunday!

I was there Sept 2007 and took a 8-day boat ride to many of the islands. Sorry about your feet!  I didn't get sunburned during the trip, but a friend I was traveling with did, and it was real bad too.
