  • Why didn't they go with this one?

  • This is an early Christmas present!

    Thank you!!

    TheGirl . com

  • This I think was shot at L.A.X.

I was there, but so drunk I cant remember much.

  • @PiskieBenWa It was shot at LAX!!! Wish I was there on that location, I was living there at the time though!!! Would have gotten drunk with you!!lolol!!!

  • @yoshluv7 Some of the video was shot in the Disney parking garage

  • Brilliant guitar work

  • Sounds like Tayn Machayne.

  • Wow , never heard this version before, always thought the original didn`t match the album as I believe it was done some time later than the others , this one does.

  • Thanks! <3

  • I love David Bowie, but I'm not familiar with his Tin Machine stuff yet, this was really cool. Thanks for posting.

  • I tin erano straordinari. Un progetto bellissimo ed interessantissimo.

  • Great quality. And there are dozens of Tin Machine II outtakes, although I havn't found this particular version before.

  • I do love this:)

  • Thought I'd never hear this again

  • Thanks. not ultra rare but def. a GEM for collectors.

  • Thanks for the comment. I thought it was ultra rare. Do you know of it existing before? Very intrigued...

  • indeed. there are some compilation albums out there with tin machine demos in the bunch. there is at least 20 tracks, i swear, i have them on my hard drive somewhere. If i find them i can give them to you via megaupload or something. if you would like them?

The outside demos are also a very very nice gem to have.

  • Wow. I didn't realise. Have you heard the other Tin Machine track I have in my videos? If so, I'd love to know what name it goes by as I am still unsure.

Outside is probably my favourite Bowie album so I would love to hear the demos. Message me if you feel like sending me a couple. It would be much appreciated!

  • strange overtones!

  • I love David! Thanks so much for the upload! : )

  • This is awesome! I'm so glad to hear this. Most Bowie fans I feel don't appreciate Tin Machine, let alone this album.

I still prefer the released version, but this is still great.

  • yes you got that right me mam and dad love them and big bowie fans they say they dnt make music like this no more and i first heard these last night my mam and dada got the tapes out and now i love this music

  • Cool! Welcome to the world of Bowie. Here, have a thumbs up.

  • i saw the two tin machine tours they were awesome gigs

  • I'm not much for live entertainment, but still that's pretty lucky. All I have of Tin Machine live are their few live releases and bootleg.

  • your not much for live enertainment ,,but you have the tin machine live release's ? thats strange ,,,

  • Yeah I'm a hypocrite I admit it, but first I got the Maggie's Farm single, which was really good, then their BBC EP release, and I just really got into the band's live sound. Most musicians just play live exactly the same way as they do in the studio which is a real turn off for me, but Bowie tends to make things pretty interesting on stage.

  • thats the great thing about bowie , you rarely hear his tunes done the same way live as on the album , i think he gets bored with it or see's another way to arrange his tunes , prince is exactly the same thats why their my two fave artists

  • Wow, mine too! I love Prince, though I think he sort sells his talents short when he doesn't release all the great things he creates.

  • i've seen prince live 8 times , the guys a genius , but i still think bowie as the edge on him , prince used to be an innovator but now he just sounds like he has run out of ideas. unlike bowie he keeps putting music out that inspires and is years ahead of itself

  • Definitely, while I liked The Rainbow Children and 3121, most of the rest of his latest work seems to be directed towards getting the hits. Yeah for some reason the Reality album still fascinates me; it's modern rock, with classic, punk, and goth rock influences altogether, and that goes with the rest of his work, never gets old.

  • Great song... and great video too! Cheers!!

  • its not that rare, its on tin machine 2called "one shot"

  • Not this version. Take a look at the "more info" section for details.

  • @estymomo This is a completely different version than on TM2

  • @estymomo and not rare at all !! Got the album but is not remastered like TM 1.Prefer 2 to 1,but that's me !!

  • Cool Great Job on the Vid, I taped the Lax concert, it was on Tv, great show!

  • wow!!!!! ; ) .....many of few words eh!!! lol

  • is teen machine

  • do you mean tin machine XD

  • I like this version of the song very much. But the video also is great!

  • I don't understand why people always say Tin Machine was so bad... I like this song! Thanks for sharing.

  • i,m in with the in crowd

  • sounds like the in crowd at the start!

  • Sounds good =)

And the vid is... WTF ?

  • Are you my mummy?

  • definitely very Doctor Who!

  • I like this version better than the final one which is all too slick and polished in my opinion. Tin Machine was a great and very underrated band. In hindsight one may easily see that Bowie once again found the zeitgeist with this "pre-grunge" music.

  • not bad weird video

  • fantastic!!!!

  • I quite like Tin Machine, prefer anything pre-1990 usually though.

His interviews are always a good hoot, he's a comedian in his own right. His nineties albums, um . . . 'Outside' was maybe a bit too long and serious, but it still contains a few favourite songs of mine ('The Motel' and 'Architect's Dream'), and EARTHLING was great. 'Little Wonder' = genius!

N.B: What is going on in this video??!

  • I liked Tin Machine. Bowie and crew could rock. Some very unrated songs from Tin Machine like this diamond in the rough...Dogonaut you do good work.Keep them coming and I'll keep watching....

  • Yeah David Bowie's voice sounds fantastic as it always does. Great video

  • Always thought Tin machine was a bit poor. Now they sound awesome! Is it me?

  • Bowie sounds good but the guitars are boring 80's turgird stuff, that was always the problem, bowie voice great but the music was very bland in tin machine, this would b cool acoustic

  • I think he and Reeves Gabrels got it right on Outside onwards

  • i like outside used to listen to it back in 96, i love his drum and bass little wonder, recent stuff very bland
