I've had Bahama Mamas before in TGI Fridays here, and they always put grenadine in it. I wouldn't drink this one in the video, and also it's barely been shaken properly.

I had several mama's down at the atlantis hotel in the bahamas last week. The official way they make them, is 1 oz gold rum (bacardi or other gold rum), 1 oz "nassau royale" (this is basically a vanilla-ish liqueuer. Captain morgans is the american subsitiute since it has vanilla flavor in it), and then they top it off with what they call 'fruit punch mix" which is a giant tub full of pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine that is pre-mixed. Then you just shake it up.

My friends sister had some Bahama Mama and it was pink. Very tastey though

This kind of videos are useful. Practical, short. however he doesn't says measurements.

You can actually tell what the measurements are by counting. It's a count that's faster than a second count (like seconds on a clock... more like 2 counts a second)

2 counts = 1/2 oz

4 counts = 1 oz

8 counts = 2 oz... and so on and so on

Ooops forgot. Those counts really only work if you have those pouring nozzles, and tilt the bottle at a 45 degree angle. But if you're using a jigger or pony, you wouldn't need to count
