  • @buttlamo nope, they're ran by candles that people inside the ambulance light up every second.

    here's your sign.

  • @larry238 Yes I do, but try and Google it, they're very easy to find!

  • nice video!

  • Do you know what the siren model is?

  • nice catch

  • Ok... those are LEDs...

Lol, yes, they are Whelen LEDs.

  • Why in US you still have RED warning lights on ambulances etc? You have red indicators, automatic trasmission cause all the time breaking lights switched on. Traffic lights are red. Flashing red for yield on intersection. Its the mess of red. Fortunately the back indicator is not anymore together with breaking light in US. Compare to Europe. Indicators:orange. Snowplow warning:orange. Emergency vehicle: BLUE Tail lamp braking light:red stop light: red Standing light:white front red back.

  • Ok..... well you go ahead and spur the movement to get them to change. Good luck!

  • Yes, but when do you see red traffic lights flashing like that? I didn't know they were so low to the ground either.

  • here blue is asking for permision to pass first off. but second.. red means stop. excatly the point why the US! runs them on EMERGENCY VEHICLES. to stop traffic. idiot. and another thing. your in the UK. we are in the US. things are done diff. in diff countrys.

  • Thanks if my english is so good that you think im in UK. Im not. In Scandinavia police show red light when want to stop you. If overtake, shows only blue. So you idiot I like to see vehciles stop front of emergency vehicles and stuck their way. There is many things in US that are gone in europe decades ago. Like only in the US and developing countries I have seen powerlines over the streets in the cities. You dont even have the eaves on the roof of wooden houses. Good luck with the mold!

  • we use a combination of red and blue. If you look at the science behind it, it makes sense. Red is 2x as bright as blue during the day, and blue/ amber is 2x as bright as red at night. There is a bit of a reason behind the use of red. Also, when you have it flash like emergency lights, people can tell the difference between an ambulance and a brake light...

  • ¿Diesel? Wow... the economic crisis is very strong :D:D

  • Ambulances have been using diesel engines for decades.

    Nothing new there.

  • dangerous roads in that scene

  • Welcome to NY.

  • I'm an EMT in NYC, I know it all to well :)

  • :-D

  • my ambulance is EXACTLY the same as that one. im guessing thats a lifeline?

  • what is 39-71

  • 39 is the Dutchess County department ID for East Fishkill, and -71 is the designation for a BLS providing ambulance.
