  • When Anand plays the Korvai for the 3rd time (1.13), he should have played with a Karvai (pause) of 2 Mathras between the 3 sets of Thadinginathoms. As he has played in the clip with 1 Mathra Karvai in between the 3 sets of Thadinginathoms, it will fall short of 2 mathras to reach the samam(down beat) as the total would be 78 mathras only !

It was just a slip only. He is certainly a capable player.

  • Anand would have probably wanted to play the Korvai for the 3rd time as Tha(2) Thi(3) Tha(2) Thathikitathom (5) Thi(3) Tha(2) Thathikitathom (5) Tha(2) Thathikitathom X3 (15) , (1) Thatheekitathom X3 (18) , (1) Thath theekitathom X3 (21) (Total =80) (In my last two attempts to post the same comment, it did not appear to have been posted. But they appeared later. Hence I have removed the 2 earlier posts of the same matter a few minutes ago.)
