  • Man! Thank you so much!

  • thanks for the help, though for some reason an error code pops up when I try to record, saying the "device could not be found". sadface.

  • Thanks a lot!!

  • My soundcard says "currently unavailable". I've tried messing with the other options, even disabled them all and still "unavailable". Any ideas?

  • @notcassandra1 I am afraid not!, I am drawing a blank on what to do with this one at the moment. I suggest you research it a bit. Also take a look at Stereo Mix Plus v2.0 to see if it can help.

  • do you know how to do it with adobe audition cs5 ?

  • @jahaziel2912 I have had not luck with Audition CS5. in this area. I tired to set it up but did not spend to much time on it. For this reason I kept version 3 on my system along with version 5

  • @SpongeeyBob ohh okay. I have version 5 and I dont like it =/ , i prefer Au 3. Im so used to it! Thanks for replying I appreciate it. I found a solution to that though.. and I'm not sure if it's the right one, but I got an mp3 plug and connected it on the headphone jack and the other end I plugged it into the mic and it worked. I can't hear what it records while its recording, but it works! lol

  • My stereo mixer wasn't in the sound icon!

  • @L12faderec If you do not see stereo mixer in then this is an issue with the manufacturer of the sound card. I have that issue on my Toshiba laptop. I have not tried it but I just found out about 'Stereo Mix Plus v2.0' Search for it and see if you have any luck. It seems to be free.

  • Great video but still not working for me :(.. The Stereo mix was completly gone so i had to reinstall drivers and it finally appeared! Have tried every single combination on the sound devices and alot of different stuff on Audition aswell. If you had any idea help would be appreciated! As a note i can record my microphone with no problem though (Razer Megalodon)

The motherboard is an asus P5Q with a Realtek ALC1200 chipset.

  • @Sakrifizer Same with MIne!

  • WOW this was extremely useful. I can't thank you enough. There are some lectures online that I really wish I could take with me to listen in my MP3, you made that possible, sir. Thanks a lot

  • @abnermath Your so welcome. Thanks for the encouragement.
