And I believe Article VII mentions political office specifically and says that there will be no religious test required of anyone attempting to gain a seat. It's sad when people mistake America's concept of an "absolute law of the land" to be the same as specifically endorsing the Christian faith. The founding fathers were extra-specific in mentioning that the U.S. does NOT endorse any specific religion at all, but rather leaves that decision up to the people. America was formed so that we would NOT have a specific religious foundation.

i'm not exactly sure what this video was meant to infer, but personally I prayed about whom I should vote for and God told me Obama. Clearly it was His will for Obama to win, he won by a landslide! What is done is done, and to infer that he does not have the country's best interests at heart is not only unpatriotic (majority disagrees), but goes against what God has already established to exist.

A lot of people view Obama as a messianic figure. That is silly. Only God is the messiah, not a mere and imperfect man that Obama is, like everyone else.
Some people think Obama is the anti-christ. Obama qualifies for only a few of the anti-christ qualifications, but not all of them, therefore he can't be the anti-christ.
He's just a politician, who is a pawn of an international economic and political agenda.

If he legalizes some non-lethal forms of drugs for medical reasons, that wouldn't be bad. Might as well, the war on drugs is a waste of time.
What worries me about Obama is that, like Bush and McCain, he was for the Bail outs, he was in support of the reauthorization of the patriot act, he supports FISA (wire taping), I think he may be for S1959 senate bill (speech censorship), he has claimed he is for a 'new world' (New World Order?) and some of his cabinet members are military minded.

actually christian means 'christ-like' or 'like-christ'. it's not just a religion. jesus did tell us to be like him. so anyone who truly believes in his heart that he is the son of god and confesses with his mouth will be saved. but we can't stop there. we have to do his good works to be truly christian. giving to the poor, spreading his word and so many other things required of us. faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love. we are to love one another as he loves us.

This is such a sad video because so many people are in denial about how much we've lost in this Country, and so many are lost souls. They really think that Obama, or the Government for that matter is going to save them. Everyone is looking for a void in their lives, a purpose, a enitity that will make all these confusions go away. He wasn't the anti christ. TRUE Christians are not attacking Obama as a democrat or a black man but on the signs that he contributes as the antichrist. This cannot be proved, true, but he has more striking similarities (almost every sign so far) than anyone in history. He's more of a threat than Hitler considering how many people he has contol. World vs. tiny western Europe. There are too many 'coincidences' to be merely a fluke. But pray we're wrong. It all adds up w/ other world events! Pray!

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that this post is satire. That said, if it's not, there is a pretty large flaw in calling Obama more dangerous than Hitler. Yes, Hitler was in charge of one "tiny western Europe"an country, but even so, he managed to take over quite a bit of that country, decimate an entire race of people and wage a war that destroyed millions of other lives and essentially suspended the world for six years. Obama has done NOTHING even close to this.

Um, Obama crashed the economy. Economy 101 lesson. As of now we are a capitalist society. This means 2% of the population controls an overwhelming amount of our economy. They have A LOT to spend. When Obama threatened 2 take their tax breaks away they immediately ceased 2 spend causing our economy to spiral down quickly. Middle class & poor people don't have the money to spend left and right & support this economy. The ones in control started 2 hold tightly to their money not wanting 2 lose it.

That's a misconception. It's just a tradition to think so. And I believe Article VII mentions political office specifically and says that there will be no religious test required of anyone attempting to gain a seat. Things like, "In God We Trust" was put on currency in the early 50's. I'm not qualified enough to give you the best answers or arguments, but I do know that escaping religious prosecution and founding on a nation on religion is contradictory and didn't happen as most people think.

in a sense, the USA was founded with a christian ideal but definitely NOT as a christian nation. The founding fathers were, for the most part, not really christians. they were "deists", meaning they believed in the existense of a god but mot in supernatural revelation, they believed in a god which created us and then more or less abandoned us to our own devise. Look up the JEFFERSON BIBLE.

Actually, you are incorrect. The vast majority of the founders were what as known as Deists - not Christians. Deists didn't believe in the miracles of the Bible. Their chief belief was that there was a Creator God who set the universe into motion, but that is all that he did. However, this being said, the Bible was still of value to them within regards to morality and the rights of man.

You are under a serious delusion- Christians are the only ones who don't need to be afraid of hell. What we are gravely concerned about is all the Christ-rejecting, hell-bound sinners, and in love we warn them to repent and turn to the one and only Way, Truth and Life (John 14:6). Find Jesus, and stop fearing God's wrath, secure in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Mediator between God the Father and sinful man. :-)

Amen isn't a who. It is originally a koine greek word that means "truly" as in "truly I tell you" or "yours truly." We put it at the end of prayers because the prayer is supposed to be what our hearts and minds are truly speaking. But like all antiquities, it gets lost in the sea of tradition and never resembles what it was really meant for.
