@SeaDollarsBertram - from what I recall, I was trying to hold the camera tripod at the same time. The camera was one of those large VHS recorders, unlike the small cameras of today.
Thanks for the ride. When we sold our '74 Beetle Georgina in December of 2009 (layoffs and lousy economy) we both cried. It was like losing a family member. This is the next best thing. Great video! Nothing like that throaty rumble from behind you. :)
Cool ! I own a 1967 bug I bought a year ago and its great! Only problem is that down here in south Florida you have to wait until winter to drive because it has no Air conditioning.Still wouldn't trade it for anything.....long live the BUG!

I had th camera mounted on a tri-pod which was braced in the backseat.
