Je me rappelle fort bien de tedi papavrami. C'est à l'occasion de nombreux salons parisiens, dans les années 90, que l'on pouvait l'entendre. Le violoniste est très fort , avec une technique assurée. Une phrase etait souvent repetee, certainement pour se demarquer de son enseignement: "Amoyal s'est fait sans Heifetz, Papavrami s'est fait sans Amoyal". Phrase distillée en general d'un ton calme, n'admettant aucune replique, avec une voix douce mais presque dure.
