  • it was a 55 gallon, I tore it down a year ago. At this point it was spectacular. To make it go it had a total water capacity of over 100 gallons. I miss it a lot. It was my second fish tank I ever tried.

  • r u sure this tank is 55 gallon?

  • nice tank bro but you know what i find funny about tang police, ....if they see a tang in a 55 gallon they're ilke ohhhh your stupid, but if they see them in a 55 gallon with coral....they think its amazing, but also tangs like the purple are skinny and go back and fourth more then side to side, so dosn't really make sense when a 120 gallon is still 4 foot long like a 55 and the tang is fine in that but not a 55

  • @samuelwaynefoleyjr you r right!!!!!!!

  • mine looks like the first part of the video can someone help whenever i get a coral it dies i have the right lighting and i feed it reg. help plz!

  • @matthewaikenpie1 Check your nitrates! and learn to drip aclimate for less stress. If your corals are healthy when bought and you have the right lighting then no need to feed it regularly.

  • @sirtubemaster thank you

  • @matthewaikenpie1 What type of lighting do you have? What type of water are you using? Any fish that might nip at them? there are lot's of variables that can lead up to not being able to keep corals.

  • i have a large tang in a 55 gallon with 5 other fish it does fine it dosnt matter on how big the tank is only if its really small like a 30 gl or less then tangs would be sad. If u have a tang in 55 gl its ok you just have to make sure you feed it properly

  • @planetearthLNL till he gets big

  • Nice your set up looks similar to my 55gal. Whats your equip list?

    I'm running 4 icecap t5's

    3,500gph flow,

    octopus skimmer,

    dual BRS reactor,

    ATO

  • tangs do fine in 55 you can get a 120 gallon but its the same length as a 55 in most cases and tangs are skinny fish they don't need a lot of room to turn they need 4 foot swimming room soo i say its okay in here

  • u should really consider having more power heads maybe like 1 more on the other side because those corals might not have enough aeration

  • not really tangs do fine in 55 small ones

  • i love your tank, how many pounds of live rock is that?

  • your tank is way to small to hold a purple tang

  • do you need all of the live rock before you add fish or do you need it all at once?

  • Nice setup!

  • Cool

  • love the torch on the left, i wish mine was still alive and kickin' those corals are beautiful in good flow..

  • looks awesome

  • you already said that on a different video k?

  • how many watts is the light

  • that's pretty amazing. i hope i can accomplish this in my 55 gallon this summer.

  • hey could you name the wavy (?mushrooms?) on the left, middle, and right?

  • How many lbs of live rock do you have in there?

  • probably around 70 lbs

  • good tank

  • no it is a 55 thats what i have too =)

  • deosnt look like 55 gallons looks like 100 gallons

  • man how did u get a reef in there??!?

  • i am thinking about starting a saltwater tank any advice

  • Whoa!!! That tranfomation is awesome. I would have never guess that it was what it was before.

  • very nice, i'd changing my 55 gallon fresh to salt this week, should be fun...well not really, but it will be worth it in the end

  • how did it turn out?
