Well here it is - IT'S FROM ALL THE GOVERNMENT SPENDING IN THE LAST YEAR! Not private sector, not job growth, but BAILOUT money. It's always reassuring to hear him speak, but I must disagree on that final point. There is no such thing as a sustained growth, even if it's slight. Bull and Bear markets are an inevitable part of economies around the world. I suppose the only real thing you could do would be to attempt to bring the balance between the two closer, in order to avoid the nasty bust cycles, but forgoing the times of great prosperity. It's nice to see the president address the largely fact free attacks on the recovery bill. It wasn't sufficient (I'm not thrilled with the Obama Administration's approach / negotiating strategy on economic issues -- the recovery, health care, labor law reform, re - regulating Wall Street, trade), but it was absolutely necessary.
