im a listener to most braindance and what some refer to as 'idm', but i gotta say current value's the few who have screaming snares and pounding crystal clear drum breaks, which i admire about him :D
definitely not. I have a bad impression since i've seen footage of CV shows in the UK where there are 80 guys milling around to his beats...there is a broad majority that just "can't handle" his sound especially in the US where people don't understand this music at all
I support the scene when I spend all of my money supporting independent artists on runs of vinyl that i never see any money back on and throw warehouse shows i don't charge people admission for...Since people have a hard enought time driving to shows and spending thier money on surviving...I wasn't talking shit as far as I can tell-It dosen't sound like 60K when all I can hear is 1-2 guys screaming...not a huge roar of 60K.
Only thing I was shit-talking is US's lack of interest in real music.
"Current Value" is unique. I've never heard this kind of Drum 'n' Bass style before. Crazy drum loops and nice electric background sounds is what makes this DJ so good!
he is a godly electronik musik artist, super heavy super dark shizzzz

A couple of crowd shots wouldn't have hurt. How many people in LA show up to see CV is the question.

yeah right...don't you mean 60,000 thoughts? I think the scene would be a bit stonger here if that were the case
