  • Can i get the tabs please??

  • Can we get the tab ?

    It's very nive ! Perfect !

  • Awesome man.....that's what I like about Bass....you can play it anyway you want it.

  • Nice..In our band I like to do the riff and then just pedal the same rythym on the B when the vocals start..sounds cool in a trio format too.

  • Very nice, but what you're playing is the guitar part, not the bass part (at least in the Stones version). The riff you're playing is Brian Jones' 12-string electric while the bass (claimed to be Richards but sounds much more like Wyman) just pedals on the root (oiriginal key = B). Nice bass sound, though.

  • @bass0111 Of course you are absolutely right about this bassline. Nonetheless, I decided uploading this particular version because this is the way I play it when making it sound in small bands (one guitar, no keyboards and so on).

Anyway, thanks a lot for your contribution.

  • @BadFad2008: Great approach! Thanks for your reply.

  • @BadFad2008 What bass do you use? any pedal like compression pedal used?

  • Excellent man - many thanks

  • @Brunschweig Thanks a lot for watching my videos!

  • wow this is really good. I'm trying to learn this song on bass right now and cant seem to get it yet

  • @tntrocks13 Good luck, this is a really easy one!

  • very good job!! thanks for share!!

  • Is that a short scale bass guitar?

  • Why is Steven Tyler singing a Stones song?

  • Nicely played and fits but is not even close to what is on Stones studio recording.

  • @wreckdiver001 Thanks for watching and for publishing your comment. As for my version, you are right, this is not a bass cover of the original, but just a possible bassline for the song instead.

  • The backing song sounds different than the regular Jumpn jack flash....Is it a demo version or sumthin??

  • @Cryptorchild92 No joke, this is a backing track for guitarists.

  • @BadFad2008 . Hello, very well played and good base! Where is the backing track? Thank!

Hola, muy bien tocado y buena base! De donde es el backing track ? Gracias

  • Nice playing, but what a terrible version of JJF

  • very nice man...can you give me bass tabs of song?tnks

  • wtf? The backing track is DEFINITELY NOT the original. It's a cover band.

  • Very well done, but you need fret markers no idea where you are.

  • @BadFad2008 its only badfad2008

  • no it is actually kieth playing bass, he puts a lot of feel and groove into it too. surprisingly though if you listen to the recording the hook is actually an octave up and the bass doesnt play the main riff, he just pumps along on B during the verses and leaves the guitars to play the riff, which in my opinion makes it sound way more badass.

  • @kvnshafer Thank YOU for watching it!

  • very nicely done I reall enjoyed listening and watching

  • @pedomohd Thank you very much for watching this video and for posting your comment!

  • nice job. thanks for posting.

  • @vigodagod My pleasure. Thank you for watching.

  • yo dude can you post your tabs :)

  • but it was played by richards on the records, while wyman was playing organ. Brian Jones wrote this song for a part, don't know who took the bass for his count, could be both.

  • Written by Bill Wyman (bass and lead guitar line) and NOT by Keith Richards ...

  • Great job man!! Stones rules!

  • @Giomiller Thanks, dude!

  • Great stuff! I love the down-to-earth, no-nonsense Stones bass lines and you demonstrate this line really well.

    Many thanks.

  • Thank YOU for watching my videos; I'm really happy that you liked it!

  • awesome thanks man, I need to learn this for college and this is a great help for me nice one :D

  • Thank you very much for posting your comment; I'm really glad that my video was useful.

  • who sang this cover?

    nice cover btw

  • Thanks for watching the video and for posting your comment. Unfortunately, I do not keep the credits of the backing track, so I don't know the name of the singer.

  • thank you soo much i can learn it all from just this video ur amazing!

  • Thank YOU for watching my videos!

  • Nice Vid! Can you tell me what fret you are using for the main riff? Your sweet bass has no fret markers.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks for watching!

It's in B, so you should find the notes starting at the 7th position (E string, 7th fret).

The first note of the main riff is that same B one octave higher: D string, 9th fret.

  • can u give a link of the bass tab or even make one for us thanks

  • I am sorry, I do not use tabs.

  • Dude great job, I'm teaching myself to play this, and this worked great as a point of reference. Nice playing!

  • Thanks a lot for your nice comment as well as for scoring my video, Neils!!!

  • If I'm not mistaken Richards played bass on this song.

  • Alright, both of us were right. I stated that "Bill Wyman was the bassist of The Rolling Stones...", for I wasn't sure that he played this song. Nonetheless, you are absolutely right about the fact that Keith Richards played the bass part. Thanks for the information. I'm updating the text.

  • Great man, keep it up. (glad that i am a subscriber :P)
