This song was one of first kind of music I liked in Arabic. Soft voice and as if blended with calssic western melodies.

Zuruni, reminds me of my late earest father in the wold! He used to encourgae my singing, and since I could not read and write Arabic, he wrote a letter to the Israeli Radio Arabic Orchestra, and so I was recorded in their studion in Haifa, singing half Hebrew Half Arabic, and the programme was broadcasted.

wow this is really amazing footage of this part of the concert...

i have heard the wonderful zorouni of olumpia before, but i have never seen what has happened after it...

This was the concert before her and assis split up, and you see she looks at him for an encore, and he tells her "rou7i", ya3ni leave...

and she gets irritted but comes back out and gives a little speach...do you have the rest of this tape?

i loved this song from its very first note.her voice is so lovely here.

"zourouni kuli sana mara haram,tensuni belmara" is all i can translate and it means "come visit me once per year,its not fair to forget me forever"
