asmkillr323. I guess it won't be easy or cheap. You can find a pipe like that somwhere in Copenhagen Denmark in an antique shop and if you do and are lucky it might cost easily $1000 or much much more.

It is a very old, (over 100 yrs), Scandinavian Skipper's pipe, made of Briar wood, antler's parts, horse hair tube and silver cup. I don't believe it is made anymore anywhere.

Pipe tobacco is better for your lungs than nearly any other smokeable product ma boi, and I thought it was an interesting pace to his video; it reminded me of my grandfather and the way he talked in his later years.

Being able to do things like smoke and drink and talk and move freely is what seperates us from Scientology and the Sea Org.

It is indeed a beautiful pipe, I believe there are similar ones still available in Lappland or Norway, though not near as old as Boris's by far. It really brought back kid memories of my own Pops and him sitting calmly reading with one of his beautiful Mearshaum pipes (sp?) *sigh*, he is still around but hasn't smoked for many years btw. Some of the pipes he brought back from europe were truly fine works of art but his (v) old briar was d' fav'd.

A wee adenum on pipes of that type: I believe they were designed that way to keep the smoke out of your eyes so you could see the sea (ergo 'captains pipe'), the caps help keep it cool and dry, just a thought :)
