I am a long standing member of Kappa and I have not heard of anyone being killed from pledging. We have had some issue but do your research thoroughly because so has EVERY other D9 org. Unfortunately now and then someone goes over board and people get hurt. Honestly tho, most office accusations come about simply because the pledgee cant handle the pressure so instead of being a man or woman and just saying "its not for me and stepping away" they feel they need to try to bring down thge chapter.
Michael Davis died February of 1994 after being beaten to death while pledging for Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University. After being brutally beaten, his fraternity
members stopped to get food at a Taco Bell directly across the street from a hospital, then drove the unconscious boy home and put him to bed, instead of getting him any medical attention.
fraternity brothers called 911 and lied to rescue workers telling them Davis had been injured playing football.
