the rialto building is the most iconic structure in australia and still today an imposing symbol of the countrys economic development. It was one of the first completley fully glazed sky scrapers in the world and at the time of construction it was the tallest building outside the united states.

@paulio2293 it was not the tallest lol. Everything you said is correct, its one of my fav buildings! But to be honest i love the collins towers! OH they are sooo amazing and they look breathtaking, they really shape melbourne! Sydney has taller buildings via FLOORS (aside of the eureka and rialto) though melbs spires and well built city really defines it and makes it perfect!
