@MissBlondielishas Nope, stand up. It's like a bicycle saddle that you put your bottom on, but you're standing up. The harness can be adjust to your height. You may also experience that you come off the bicycle saddle and go upwards when you go upside down. It happened to me :P I'm going again on Friday, so I can't wait!

I nearly fell out of this wen it does a tight roll. that seat thing goes up depending on you weight. and mine went up... :D you don't fell safe on it because there is only an L shape holding you and you can (not so easily) get out.

@kerenzinha22 had exactly the same problem, but the next year the seats were fine but my friend next to me was stick floating in mid air, so i think it's just the seats...

@SamuelH105 Its called Intamin shake and most Intamin rollercoasters develop it after about 3 or 4 years of operation. It is called it because the cars tend to shake alot.

@Matthewmcintee yeah was pretty bad on SROS (Bizarro) I have ridden it at least once every year since its opening and that shake got pretty bad before the new trains. But it never seemed to effect the ride it just sounded liek the shell of the train was really loose.

Does this ride make your stomach jolt/turn a lot? I really want to try out new rollercoasters (the only one I'm ok with is Air at Alton Towers and the usual log flumes, small rollercoasters etc) but I really cant stand that feeling you get in your stomach for longer than like a second or two. Is this a good rollercoaster for me lol?

gforce you go upside down really slow & the only thing thats holding you in is the belt thing, if that breaks you're screwed. But anyway, i've never been on shockwave, meant to be goin on it tomorrow with my friend 'cause she loves it. & In my opinion, even tho i havent been on shockwave, i'd say its scarier than gforce ;D.

if you 'think' you know something, you should at least look it up. Intamin made a handful of stand-up coasters, some subcontracted by giovanola, and some were made when B&M were still apart of Intamin and hadnt branched off to form their own design of stand-up coasters.

Shockwave opened at magic mountain in the 80's, but is now in storage at darien lake, cobra at la ronde, and this coaster at drayton manor. look it up on rcdb, dumbass
