I like how you explained Lenalee wasn't emo. Even when she cried as a child it wasn't because she was emo, it was because she was scared and alone. She had been torn away from her only family left, Komui, and dragged off to Black Order Headquarters only to be forced to stay and not allowed out.
I do have a correction, though, her hair wasn't severed in the fight against Eishi, it was burned off.

actually, I think the anime gives Lenalee a bad focus, since some of the filler chapters she's portrayed as the damisel in distress... and her voice is kind of annoying. I preffer the manga forever, although the anime gave to her fighting a lot of style and badassery. After Road, Lenalee is my favorite female character from DGM :)

Poor Lenalee she went through a lot starting with what happened during her childhood but at least her life has gotten better. The anime site I use stops at episode 82 of d.gray-man which sucks because I'm pretty sure that's when Lenalee finds out Allen is still alive. I can't wait to see her new innocence mainly because I got upset when the sync rate dwindled down to 10%. Although form what I see in this video it comes back up better than before yay! ^_^

Seriously though, I once hated Lenalee since she was all depressed and emotional and thinking she's the only one with bad things going about around her but I have to admit, I kinda re-liked her afterwards...
Of course, Lavi has to be my most fav in D.Gray Man but if I had to pick my fav GIRL character, it had to be Lenalee since other than her and hilarious Miranda, there aren't many female exorcists in the series.. =.=

But that was only because her innocence stopped working after she went over her synchro rate... And then about her skirt? I think she wears it because she needs to be able to move as much as possible, since her Dark Boots come up till her mid-thigh. She wears shorts underneath, anyway. Great video, once again!
really good video I just wish you would hold back just a little on the Video effects. They can be a little bit irritating. This one wasn't to bad but there were others I couldn't sit through cause they hurt my head. No offense meant just giving a little constructive criticism.
@BriannaDawnc No offense taken, I kno i was an effect whore at the time this video was made. However if you've taken a look at any of my more recent work you'd see I'm not an effect whore anymore. The other ones you mentioned are probably other older vids of mine made in my effect whore days :3 If you still think I use too many effects in my more recent work then I can only say that I'm an effects editor (I don't do raw well) so my editing may not be for you xD Thanks tho
@SuccessorBookman You're so right! The only reason Lenalee became useless at all was because of the fight in Season 3 against Eishi, the level 3 akuma. SHE was the ONLY one who could've defeated Eishi.
And when she regains her innocence you notice how much more POWERFUL it is! >< She's the reason they were able to stop the Level 4!

@BriannaDawnc No offense taken, I kno i was an effect whore at the time this video was made. However if you've taken a look at any of my more recent work you'd see I'm not an effect whore anymore. The other ones you mentioned are probably other older vids of mine made in my effect whore days :3 If you still think I use too many effects in my more recent work then I can only say that I'm an effects editor (I don't do raw well) so my editing may not be for you xD Thanks tho

@SuccessorBookman You're so right! The only reason Lenalee became useless at all was because of the fight in Season 3 against Eishi, the level 3 akuma. SHE was the ONLY one who could've defeated Eishi.
And when she regains her innocence you notice how much more POWERFUL it is! >< She's the reason they were able to stop the Level 4!

Thank you ever so much for making this video! I love D.Grayman but I've never been that into Lenalee (except, of course, wondering who she's gonna get hooked up with :K)
This made me see she's much stronger than she looks and the anime makes it seem. Sometimes she really cries a bit too much, but she's so strong <3 Love her boots by the way :D
