I love the primitive sounding Death bands like Devourment, or Mortician, or even fucking Napalm Death... Shit that you can easily wrap your head around and bang out to. Not saying I don't adore technical bands like Gorguts or Suffocation, but I normally pick a good groove over a blast beat.

people dont realize anymore, but to be a metal guitarist you dont gotta play at fast as slayer or have to play the sickest solo ever. It is all about the music. As long as the music sounds brutal, you could play as fast as you want, as slow as you want, as technical as you want, or as simple as you want, its all about the music. but all people nowadays think about is the image, and if you cant play 200 beats a minute or dont wanna play crazy train, then you suck at guitar. And that is bullshit!!

lol The pickups are the standard LH-150 Set [that comes with the actual guitar]. The distortion in this video, i'm not too proud of, but if you must know, I used a 10-Watt Marshall Amp with a Digitech RP-50 disotrtion pedal. If I were you, I'd get one of those big Randall motherfuckers and a nice Boss rig. They make some sick shit. Not that Digitech is terrible, but I'd much rather prefer Boss or Ibanez in terms of pedals.

yeah i got a ibanez with the stock V7 V8 pickups, and i play with either the boss metalcore or GNX3 multieffects, the only problem is the distortion is so dirty, there isn't much a of a 'crunch' sort of tone like i heard on your setup

My local music store [Walter's Music] fucking charges like, 11 dollars for a set of 46-8 Ernie Ball strings. I prefer strings that are closer to the 55-60 mark, which is what I used for this video.
