  • Just like minecraft.....

  • Fractals are defined as images that look identical even on infinite zoom. Since you have different appearances for each zoom level, this is technically not a fractal. Well done, though.

  • THank YOu!!!

  • woot! minecraft in real life LES GO!

  • Is this the fractal that looks like a sponge when iterated enough?

  • Imagine that those little cubes are made like the big one...

  • What would happen if there were apartment buildings, schools and hospitals that looked just like Menger sponges?

  • i couldn't find the instructions, please help me!!!

  • @pinkpekesita I just saw they removed the explanation... I will put the info on my website!

  • @dutchpapergirl thank you =)

  • I live in the Netherlands and am planning on making this incredible model. I was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased the Paperfoil, so i may make one as beautiful as yours.

  • @0neironaut23 I bought it with a company that only delivers at schools..

  • @dutchpapergirl Oh, okay then. Thanks for the response. P.s. I love all of your other models as well; keep up the great work. :)

  • wow

  • omg this DESERVES A MILLION HITS, MAN!!!

    cut look:

    1 cube= 6 papers,

    6*20= 120

    120*20= 2400!!!

    2 piece= 5 seconds

    2400 pieces= 6000 seconds

    1h 40 mins+ assembly...

    2hours? seems more

  • r u like a magician or something?

  • Falling we are falling......

  • ITS MADE OF FOIL!?

  • @charlieandjackXD paperfoil

  • you should make a stop motion of you building this! :D

  • he made separate cubes and glued them, i mean it's still a hard work and it looks nice , but now try to do this out of one sheet of paper :)

  • @zigero look at the website mangermania com! This cube is made out of seperate pieces of paper; NO GLUE!!!

  • how did u make that?!?!?!?!?!

  • @australia1998 mengermania com

  • how did you get the outside of it smooth?

  • @GrettyBoyCustoms just do not wrinkle the foil!

  • hey r u sure this is origami instead of legos????? hahahahaha

  • Great video. What kind of foil did you use and where would you suggest getting it? I've been thinking of attempting a project such as this. Thanks.

  • @Foobinski it was origami foil (same size as origami paper)

    Good luck!!!

  • imagine a house like that

  • h3llo congrats...wh3w,,, yet another work of genius-patience-ZEN;-)....k33p up the gr3at work, p3ace =][=

  • i meant tiny squares

  • what does puny mean???

  • puny means small with an element of weakness.

  • @dutchpapergirl damn small

  • very small

  • @dutchpapergirl small

  • @dutchpapergirl very small :) nice design

  • @dutchpapergirl puny means tiny, like little.

  • @dutchpapergirl small. But I don't understand what he means by it

  • @dutchpapergirl t betekent klein ;)

  • Note to self buy 400 bullion cubes. haha

That thing is awesome! I wish I had half your patience! It must be like meditation for you.

  • Damn vet! Lijkt wel massief metaal!

  • nou, dat is 't niet...

iemand die dat dacht heeft 'm beschadigd en ik moet m repareren...

  • lol :D das minder :P

  • I'm the biggest cheap-ass in the world:P even when it comes to paper.. The measurements I use for it are 1.1 x 1.8 cm. A single piece of A4 can be cut into 320... that's roughly 11 pieces for this sponge... I'm doing the number bigger, but I've kinda stalled... It's almost 6 out of 20 cubes done... I should get a life haha

  • Best wel jammer dat ik voor zulk soort dingen geen geduld heb, van is wel ontzettend leuk om te doen

  • Like your work

  • Beautiful. So make 11 more and go to the next fractal higher! Only 880 hours extra :)

  • Well that would be nice!!!

  • Does anybody know the title/musisian of this music???

  • A level two "menger" sponge (like this one) is created of 865 pieces of paper.

    That's sick.

  • MY GOD O.O your crazy..... O.o 80 hours!!! i mean its AWESOME! O.O

  • make 21 of those and stick them together =) and so on xD

  • i am looking forward to your video!!!

  • i havent got the patience, its a pity, the guy from mengermania left his projects, that would have been insane

  • i can imagine why!!!!

  • holy crap dit is echt...

    HOLY CRAP!!!!

  • What is this i don't even...

  • je ben gek:P

  • gek op mooie dingen, ja...

  • Wow!!! amazing!

  • holly mother of god, that was freakin amazing!!!

  • Excellent modular origami, and beautifull paper, where'd you get it?

  • in a hobby shop

  • woooooooooooooow!!!

    dat is pas knap

  • I'm making one of these, out of a different module though. It's going to take awhile.

  • umm thats alot

  • When you have 1520 hours to spare, you make 19 more of these and fit together for an even larger one :)

Looking forward to seeing it!! Thanks!

  • Now that I would like to see :D

  • beatiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Holy Crap That thing is like godly modular

    ~Kevin

  • 400 modules, dare I say that's gotta be some sort of record. (If not overall, maybe for cube modules?).

    Very very neat display piece!

  • I am not a big fan of multi piece origami, but this one is quite an exception. I love it.

  • Completely amazing.

    Don't let it get squished.

  • zelf uitgesneden?:P

  • je bedoelt al die stukjes? ja...

  • It is Awesome!

  • wow. nice. how many cubes were there?

  • There are 400 cubes in it. That is 3,456 pieces of paper...

  • That's crazy!Nice video!

  • nice work :)
