Hey man, tight drumming. I am looking into this kit, and though yours' sounds good, I am looking for a real deep rock/punk tone. With your experience, do you think with the right heads and tuning I could get a real solid low tone? Thanks!
I really like this kit because it's affordable, has pro features, and with the proper heads and tuning they can sound great. The heads in the video are old. I just replaced them, and soon I hope to post another cover with the better sound. And the brand is very good as well.
As long as you tune the heads right, you should get great sound out of these. Let me know if you decide on this model!

I don't really like the sound of your toms that much, but I saw in your other video that you're still using stock heads so that may be why. Have you thought about getting the 8" and 16" add on toms? They seem like a pretty good investment.
I think the kit is great. Go for it! Yes, I hope to be replacing the stock heads soon; I agree that the toms should sound better with new heads. DW Pacific recommends single-ply heads for these drums, so I'll be trying that.
