@Rutle ...so cold.....and so sweet......i reckon he is still talking about the plums he ate...lol....sounds like its a woman he is talking about to me...lol
I read this poet long time ago. T'was a difficult reading.Your reading is great, as usual. I'd like to listen some Gregory Corso from you, if you know it and like it.Thanks for sharing.Paul.
You gave me five minutes of calm silence by reading this, Mr. Freeman, Sir. You were finished and I was just sitting here thinking about how nice it would be to stop sometimes and admire the small wonders of life which we keep passing by without noticing them. Thank you.
" Nice reading Mr. Freeman... now go back to your seat."
" Walter, you're up next, don't be shy... get up here. Now read your poem "
Walter says,...
"morning light in the mist of fresh cow pies, sweet silage hangs moist,... heavy in the air, the triangle sounds, bacon, eggs n' coffee,... I gotta' pee..."
@profwaldo ...but sister ...i liked it as much as the other poem....you go with him then mr gresh we will have no body disagreeing.....or...your mother and father will know..and they are spending a lot of money to send you here....but before you both go... come here and let me pinch you hard..and pull your hair and slap you and jerk on your ear..and belittle both of you in front of all your peers.....and further damage you ..now dont you love poetry?
@songblurred ...a couple real short ones...for sure...i never heard of the guy....i never heard of most poets...not sure why i like em.....but i do....
Lovely poem, short but sweet.
