@mnbigfoot The 94 video footage was obtained by Fred Shannon's dive, not this dive. Shannon's dive was privately funded and the video footage of the human remains is not available for public release on You Tube at this time.
probably not a good idea. remember this is a tomb for 29 men and the cold fresh water of the lakes has likely preserved their remains rather freakishly well. also the ship is essentially destroyed and it wouldn't be same if it was brought up.
Fascinating stuff as always. I can't help but wonder though. The last "legal" dive was in '95, correct? And still the debate goes on over the cause of the sinking. I wonder if some kind of compromise could be worked out with the families of the victims. Stage one expedition to gather as much material as possible. Maybe a sidescan sonar map, and some photo mosaics. Basically gather a good, solid record of materials that could be analyzed. Then cordon off the wreck to any more snooping.
Where is the 94 footage of the human remains in a life jacket? Ive read about it, but no info.

Is this the rare "expedtion 94" footage I've been hearing about?

@hyeone:
This video footage was never released to the public until it was posted on You Tube. There is remaining footage that I intend to post.
