  • you should play more, make the video longer!:)

  • I just bought this guitar, and I'm concerned it might be a bit too boomy or bassy for my tastes. Have you noticed a big difference with various strings?

  • nice guitar , nice sound , but very very very very very very very bad guality the tuners

and you must remember that you are the M A R T I N (change it)

  • @voukis6 Grover rotomatics are well made tuners that look great and work beautifully, I have them on 3 of my guitars no issues whatsoever. Where you got the idea that they are very bad quality tuners is a mystery to me.

But I will agree that it is a nice Guitar with a nice sound.

  • Just play the fucking thing! Nobody cares what you think, we want to HEAR it!

  • Does anybody know why Martin chose to name this guitar a HD28? ( Same question for all the other models).

  • @Pan3405

H is for herringbone--the design on the sides of the top.

  • @ryan06105 Thank You! And the "D"?

  • @ryan06105 Thank You! And the "D"? And "28"? And.... VS? Because I have a HD28VS.. The same guitar as Don McLean uses(?)..

  • @Pan3405 H=Herringbone around the edges, D=Dreadnought shape and the 28 has to do with the hole size, I think.

  • @kaiserthegreat1 Thank You!! Now I can play in rest!!

  • My mistake. The pin for the back of the guitar was in a small envelope in the storage compartment in the case. I didn't know non-elec acoustics don't come with a neck heel button. I got it at MFG and they sent me a metal one after I mentioned I may want to put my strap on that way. Which I will get done this week. My Favorite Guitars have been the absolute best to me before & after the sale. Jon & Sharon get 5 Stars from me. Jon went above & beyond what he had to do to get me that Martin HD-28

  • Just got my Martin HD-28 today :-) I didn't know Martins don't come with a strap peg or pin near the body of the neck like some Taylor Acoustic/Elec I've seen. I was told either use a chord attached to my guitar strap or have a Luthier put a strap peg where others are usuallt put. Will this kill the value of my Martin? I have a little belly ;-) so it is easier to stand up to play. If I play sitting the guitar is at an angle. LOL You never know when that puppy is going to slip off your leg.

  • @hawg427 No they don't come with a pin button in the neck. They only cost like a 1.50 to a 1.90. You would think , that you just spent around 2600 to 2800 in their store they would of made sure you got one. Was this a local or Internet store?

  • Very nice! :)

Bought a Tanglewood tw15 ns today, thats one good guitar for the money that i tell you ;)
