wamatzeit, no body makes good music any more, regardless of where they come from. It's either computer generated, someone scratching a record on a turntable or rap! Which is basically somebody standing there shouting and swearing into a micrpophone usually about guns and crime.
@MandysMinge obviously knows NOTHING about rap, i could say the same about heavy metal or many other forms of music but i don't i wonder if you have the poetic talent to write any rap that anyone would respect? you woudn't like it if someone insulted your culture respect others.

They were from Jamaica and West Indies, and indeed they were chosen by a German who wanted them to sing a song he had written, so to say that Europeans make better music is a bit ironical.And why did this German choose Black people ? And why did Elvis Presley become famous ? Someone thought he was Black when hearing a song he wrote for his mum's birthday.
I don't know where Boney M where from. In musical terms they could be classed as germans, as they were produced and released from there. But also Donna Summer was till the 80s(hear of the Munich Music Machine?), and many other performers regarded as American where actually crafted in Europe in the 70's, especially disco music.
Boney M might not be the best and most interesting, and they have better tracks like Oceans of fantasy, but it's easy to find much worst music even in talented America
