Yoty, do you know how Miss Allegro was christened? Was the actress a music buff, or did someone at KHTV come up with the name?
I had almost forgotten that unique and very interesting logo. I was sorry to see it go when Channel 39 became part of the WB. Thanks for posting this clip.

Most of 39 Funtime was the brainchild of Sean, our promotions director. I she started out as Allen's piano teacher, and that's how the name was given. I'll check with Sean.
