You need to be a little careful with your terminology - there is one error at about 1.40 into the video. You mention that the image is 300dpi and then say this means there are 300 pixels in every SQUARE INCH. This is incorrect! There are 300 pixels along each inch, which equates to 300x300=90,000 pixels per 'square inch'. If you had a square with only 300 pixels in it (which is impossible, of course) you would have approx 17.32ppi
Trying out the X5 trial (thinking of stepping up from X3)... But I'm finding I can't open a .PNG with a background like X3 used to do. Previously I'd get a masked image, in which I could remove the mask and access areas that were previously 'hidden' by the transparency, but now X5 does the same thing Photoshop does; opening an object on a transparent background, or rather, no background.
Any idea how I can do what I... used to be able to do?
This is a great video. I've been a fan of Corel Draw! Since version 5 (and even had to teach people to use version 2 at that time!) and just downloaded the X5 trial version. Nice to see some interesting features in Photo-Paint and can't wait to play with my old friend CorelDraw!
Nice video. Very easy to follow and understand.
