The reason why we argue is that we loved the old music and some people the fact that people hate Green Day mostly because of their new stuff. If you fans tell us the reason Green Day changed was because 'They grew up and needed to change and their old music would get boring.' - you're wrong. The original fanbase weren't mainstream fans who couldn't appreciate the band for what they were.

They tell us to "question everything", which is what they have always done. I belive that as they matured, and reality changed around them (Irak, the Bush years, etc) they felt the need to be more direct and explicit in their message
