  • @LeeBeeBee1

    Bitchy, aren't you?

  • @badboyforlife10195 Okay, Mr sweet talking "badboy": All comments removed. Happy now? The first comment I made, admittedly was a trifle heavy-handed, So to all those Brits out there that were offended - I apologise. :)

  • Bibio knows how to make my day

  • hearing this brings to mind the winter i spent istabul, i made clothes for the rats that would come under my door. they enjoyed the slacks but were not fond of my jackets, so i stepped on their throats. Also i have never been to Istanbul..

  • this whole album is a mind fucking beauty i love it so much

  • I would kill to be there. Expecially in the middle of this boring grey winter.

  • Layering wavering shadows,,,he did it so beautiful

  • this is ultra dreamy, i didn't know thats how brits were

  • yo bibio is the best cat doing it in this genre right now... easily

  • This owes more to late 60's and early 70's psychedelic folk than anything else, it's just great music really. enjoy it, and give thanks were are lucky enough to have it.

  • i wish there were places like that near LA. instead its cement, trash, and homeless people :(

  • the music his awesome and the video is just heaven...

  • great song and video. does anyone know where it was filmed?

  • I love the naive and old-fashioned style of the video. As if it was a movie made by a child on his first Super 8 mm film camera, a long time ago.

  • Is it the official video?

  • How is this like coldplay?!?!?!

  • What's your problem?

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't know there is a clip !

  • Pre-Ambivalence Avenue Bibio, although different, is just absolutely fantastic. Great, great, artist.

  • wow, british musical is simply stunning. even this - this sounds so beatlish, so british.. greeat.

Dear Brits, you possess a fantastic musical genome

  • Very kind of you to say Pavlus :)

He's from my home town too! Hooray!

  • @pavlus2

no way, this sound is American all over. Southern america, with a folky twist...

  • @Bhousm76 Bibio's a British music producer :)

  • @theindiefanclub

No doubt, but thats not where this sound came from.

  • @pavlus2 they truly do!

  • comparing this to coldplay is like comparing bob dylan with bob marley. give it a rest if you cant see past your own nose musically. and while you're there check out animal collective - merriweather post pavilion for the beginning of your musical education.

  • lol get over yourself

  • yea your a shithead

  • @TheyWereCones haaaaaaahahaha jesus.

  • @teacozy I actually dont remember saying "yea your a shithead" to anyone. I dont know why thats there, sry!

  • @teacozy I actually dont remember saying "yea your a shithead" to anyone. I dont know why thats there, sry! ive never even heard this song until I got the update that someone responded to my comment

  • open up your open up you open your

  • what is coldplay? :P

  • + If someone said to me ''lots of good vibes in this song'', i'd say ''yeah it's a nice track!'' and leave it at that...

  • @Bishibee his voice actually does have chris martiny moments. i don't think it was their intent to belittle anyone by way of a simple comparison. if they had said 'coldplay is better' or something. then, yeah. that would be dumb.

it also reminds me a little of jose gonzalez. but don't freak out.

  • @Bishibee right! If you compare Bibio to anyone else then to Jim Noir!

  • Fi is still his best.

    Love them all.

  • Fabulous magical stuff.

I really don't know how the video could suit the track more.

"Evocative" would be an understatement, but it's all I can muster at the moment.

And since we're in the realm of potentially dubious comparisons, I'll have a go. In ways, it reminds me of Nick Drake: it's timeless music.

  • Is this Bibio's singing voice? He sounds like the lead singer from Coldplay. Which fits the song rather well, I'm thinking.

Lots of good vibes in this track :)

  • yes that's him singing. i don't get how it sounds anything like coldplay, of all the people you could have named :p

  • Don't get me wrong--I'm not comparing his songwriting to Coldplay's, I'm just saying that his voice seems similar to me. I don't know, maybe it really does sound a lot different but through all of the destruction that happens to the sound through his recording techniques it's probably completely dissimilar.

I don't know. I drew a random connection, I guess. Bibio and his labelmates on Mush/Warp are superior to Coldplay by a long shot, but I'm just saying. It's surely disagreeable, however.

  • Hi!

  • This album is just amazing

  • Agreed. This is a very talented artist and Vignetting is my pick for album of the year and it's only April.

  • And to think he's releasing a new album in June! Egad, this is a splendid year in lo-fi indeed!

  • i just got vignetting the compost. WHOA!!!

  • i'm perfectly stunned. this is brilliant.

  • ooooooooooohhhh :D

  • omar, shutup... god

  • Wonderful. I can't wait for the album :)
