@kabir07860 the ECW invasion angle at the end was the lowest rated part of the show. The entire show did like a 1.09. More people know who Santino Morella and Evan Bourne than they do AJ Styles and Jay Lethal. TNA will never be on the same level as the WWE.
I think its amazing the fact (the real, original, non Tuesday Night Heat) ECW has been dead for 9 years and people STILL chant ECW when the someting fucked up happens or when ECW guys are performing. Now, if they have Paul Heyman on board with this storyline this could be fucking epic and I hope TNA dont fuck it up the way they normally do with everything else.

Abyss turned heel not that long ago, ranting about "they are coming" which led to the building of his hardcore weapon that he's got in hand. The ECW guys have been in the audience for quite a few weeks now to add mystery to the story but they didn't actually do anything until now. So the "they are coming" mystery is most likely the ECW guys getting into the story. #1 This was to leave us hanging 4 next week
@Amnail2 If WWE still owns the ECW brand you won't see ECW on TNA, period. If WWE won't run an ECW show then ECW is dead. But the death of ECW would not stop Hardcore wrestling in TNA simply because it cannot use the ECW brand. The announcers can legally talk about ECW because they are not claiming to be ECW, and since all those wrestlers were in ECW they are using it as a reference. I don't know the terms of ECW's buyout by WWE but I doubt WWE would let TNA have the ECW name.

I heard people going crazy about this angle, but I didn't see the big deal. There should not be an ECW stable in the year 2010. ECW fell apart, what, a decade ago? time to move on. Especially since WWE will probably make them stop using their trademarked names, so they'll get a generic name like "the hardcore revolution" instead. Plus since WWE did the whole NXT storyline just a few weeks ago, this just seems like TNA's version of that. Overall, this whole angle doesn't make me want to watch TNA
Agreed. This angle could have been awesome when WWE did it back in 2001, except they screwed it up by making everyone in the Alliance look completely worthless and focusing more on the McMahon family than anyone else. Now nine years later, TNA wants to do it again? Sure, they might not screw up as bad as Vince did, but they're still about seven or eight years too late and now all the interest for it is gone.
@TomSkell Dixie listened to the true fans of wrestling, they did a study to see what people actually like and it was the real ECW 96-99 years, They loved the mixture of actual wrestling with the violence, if you havent noticed, Look at the crowd in the ECW era, and Look at tna's crowd of today. You have hardcore fans there every week just like ECW was in Philly and Chicago and The hammerstien ballroom. TNA cant sell merchandise with an ecw logo since vince owns the right. I loved ECW but this isnt going to help TNA get any better. The ecw guys will squash all of tna's young talent and hold them back another year. Hard justice will be a one night stand wanna be. These guys are too old to be doing this now. Look at raven he is balding. lol I love these guys but you guys don't have it anymore. I wish TNA would focus on today and the future. not ten years ago

if you have heard on wednesday, taz's old manager has back stage that show, fonzi (Sp?) so it looks like he and taz will run the extreme team. "i got a funny feeling more are coming" 55 sec into it, seems like he was talkign about the tna locker room when i watched it on thursday, but now it may have been his lame way of telling us al snow and that pat kenny were going to turn on tna, aswell as devon coming out. who knows. could be good... rumor had it it was originally intended to be ecw/nwo

@slokonj yea im not a big pro wrestling fan anymore. i grew up i the wwf attitude era and i did occasionally watch wcw. but my little brother watches tna somtimes and i see all my old favorites so i watch it with him. o and is the band still in tna (Nash, Pac,hall)?

And to say tna fans arent hardcore, the majority of them, the real fans there dont cheer hogan or bischoff, thats the rest of the crowd of universal studios. Yeah, nexus invasion real cool, go a failure from i love new york, a guy who looks like a troll doll, and a guy who doesnt know how to renew his visa. You act as if they should lay out all the cards now, its called building a story line.

@blaze814 Wade Barretts visa was renewed last week sooo..... i THINK he does know how to do it... Heyman said that he'll go to TNA IF he gets full control and $7 million a year but he would still have to think about it... Spoiler sites are saying the same things.. So send me a recent link where is says Hayman is on his way to TNA... The talent in Nexus is much better than the talent in TNA's Nexus.

I heard people going crazy about this angle, but I didn't see the big deal. There should not be an ECW stable in the year 2010. ECW fell apart, what, a decade ago? time to move on. Especially since WWE will probably make them stop using their trademarked names, so they'll get a generic name like "the hardcore revolution" instead. Plus since WWE did the whole NXT storyline just a few weeks ago, this just seems like TNA's version of that. Overall, this whole angle doesn't make me want to watch TNA

Agreed. This angle could have been awesome when WWE did it back in 2001, except they screwed it up by making everyone in the Alliance look completely worthless and focusing more on the McMahon family than anyone else. Now nine years later, TNA wants to do it again? Sure, they might not screw up as bad as Vince did, but they're still about seven or eight years too late and now all the interest for it is gone.
I wish TNA would stop living in the past so much.

@TomSkell Dixie listened to the true fans of wrestling, they did a study to see what people actually like and it was the real ECW 96-99 years, They loved the mixture of actual wrestling with the violence, if you havent noticed, Look at the crowd in the ECW era, and Look at tna's crowd of today. You have hardcore fans there every week just like ECW was in Philly and Chicago and The hammerstien ballroom. TNA cant sell merchandise with an ecw logo since vince owns the right. But they can say it

@blaze814 TNA fans aren't as hardcore as last year.... The ECW fans called it as they seen it. The wouldn't cheer Hogan or Flair. They cheered GOOD wrestlers not superstars like most TNA wrestlers

TNA is terrible, a lot of these guys aren't all that great anymore in ring and this just further makes them look more bush league by AGAIN referencing another promotion from a decade ago. I suppose all the WCW and WWE references just aren't enough?

I'm afraid I don't see the correlation between Kaval being in TNA and now NXT. And you're right, they planned to do an ECW storyline months ago. But they didn't make the plan to do it like that until that Monday. Dreamer suggested it and they ran with it. NXT predated them.
