And maneuvering like a noob, was the norm back in those days, only hardcore pvpers moved with the mouse. There was no need, all boss encounters and PvP where easily achieved with simple keybinds, most of the time you didn't even have to keybind to keep a good rotation. It was a much easier, more relaxed style of play. TBC changed WoW, and it will never be good, ever again.

He probably got TF before people understood it;s use, but there was no real reason for a Paladin to ever get it. It was a tanking weapon first and foremost, and a decent dps weapon second. No matter how you look at it though it was not a weapon for a paladin, or a hunter for that manner. Btw, grammar is ftw.

Paladins could Bubble back-to-back and use Blessing of Protection (Immune to all Phsyical) while heal themselves. and if you're still not dead and were running low, We may be close to oom so LOH. Full HP 10-15% mana restored. This was before Hunters could "Kite" properly in PVP. <3 Veng

....Thunderfury used to be the best Weapon for Threat generation due to the PROC (Every proc from a Thunderfury generates threat equivalent to two applications of Sunder Armor) Back when Threat was not easy to gain like it is today..... In TBC, Improved thunderclap is being upgraded so that it's effect reduces the attack speed of the afflicted by 20% (bringing it in line with the Thunderfury debuff).

if it's pre burning crusade then obviously the hits are going to be low; less dps on your weapons, and with lower hit points from gear the hits have to be balanced or people would die in a few hits. How you thick can you be not to understand that?
