  • it's not fake. look at mythbusters

  • I felt the scientific spirit most of all in Apollo 15 than the previous Apollos. Maybe Apollo 12; but, they didn't have the rover!

Apollo 15 was the Apollo of the no-names astronauts; the grunt workers. The others were for the the Mercury 7's to get their ride to the moon. This isn't totally true, but true enough!

  • thanks for posting, great film

  • Can anyone explain my error? At about 24.45, Earthrise is shown. However, it appears to me that the moon is lit from the viewer's 5 o'clock, while the earth appears lit from 3 o'clock high. Where am I going wrong?

  • @Jonthegeorge I think the sun was to the right and just slightly behind the camera.

  • Astronauts have got some stones!

  • ohh look its that bs americans actually got the whole world to believe.... heh...

  • @Stereolabdream

    ur comment is still here

  • @No603Scope

And so is your dirty lie.

  • @Stereolabdream

trololo, u silly child, actually deleted ur comment

  • @No603Scope

Yes for over 40 years the scientific communities of EVERY NATION ON EARTH have been fooled, but you know better because a twat on youtube said so.

  • If you "Conspiracy Theorists" want to investigate something, please do NOT concentrate your efforts on the SCIENTIFICALLY VERIFIABLE Apollo program, but rather the 911 comission report, which is SURELY BOGUS!!!! You have to pick your battles, and Apollo is the WRONG battle. 911 was NOT as the government wants us to believe.

  • ok I dont want any more replies about my mistake (trajectory, and all that) but Skandalos the velocity which was achieved by the T.L.I. burn was 25,000 mph. (watch "For All Mankind")

  • This is an astounding achievement of mankind's hard work & effort my congratulations to the astronauts of the NASA Space Program & Russian Cosmonaut Space Program, and my deepest condolences to those that have died in an effort to explore the final frontier.

  • Yes NASA, these movies are awesome. They speak about the greatness of America. Mission accomplished. However, I hope that EU, China and Japan will join together to continue exploration and colonization of the moon that was killed by NASA 40 years ago when just born, for no reasons. Just few pieces of rocks and few hours of moon walk with hold instruments are not enough to consider moon exploration and colonisation over, we all should agree about that...

  • to all u conspiracy theorists that believe this was fake..... let me tell u that your the kind of shit that these astronauts wipe of there shoes when strolling through the park. you will never ever achieve in your lifetime what they achieved in 4 days.

  • SHOW ME ONE FOOTAGE OF THE LUNAR ROVER BEING UNLOADED AND SETUP!!!

  • @superjaykramer There wasn't a camera crew as well! it was only the two of them. As a camera operator for TV myself, I think they captured so much valuable footage. TV doesn't just happen.

  • Fake Fake Fake

  • @superjaykramer

    "Fake Fake Fake"

You mean: "I don't understand it, so it must be fake".

  • also, japanese SELENE confirmed apollo 15, another proof because its not from the US. I'd love to see the faces of the hardcore conspiracy theorists, when the google lunar x-prize manages to get image from an apollo landing site...

  • The Apollo 15 Lunar Module accidentally set down with one leg in a small crater resulting in a tilt of 10°, just 5° below the maximum acceptable angle. Hazards from craters of this size are best detected with meter scale topography and high incidence angle (80°) images - both provided by the LROC NAC.

  • Hello. We added your video on our playlist.

    Come visit.

  • FalterVayne additionally any vented gas from the moon located in deep craters,as it floats away from the moon, maybecome charged (depending on gas type)as such that gas may glow, as has been noticed as lights on the moon for 100s of years, especially evident in shadowed areas of our friendly large orbital rock, likely just another cheap spectical provided by our moon

  • Water on the Moon! The Lunar Prospector Mission team announced in a historic press conference March 5, 1998, that the tiny, low budget ($65 million) craft had found the answer to one of the most hotly debated questions in lunar science. Prospector found somewhere between 10 to 300 million tons of water-ice scattered inside the perpetually shadowed craters of the lunar poles

  • "FAKE"

Yes, I quite agree. Your appearance of intelligence is.

  • Pretty awesome!

  • we need to go to the moon in HD

  • Look at smeagle on the right at 17:42. Tell me that's not reptile in human skin. Secretly... plotting your demise.

  • LOL

  • Fools that tell they did'nt went to the Moon, should be skull-bashed with a big Lunar rock.

  • Learn how to formulate a sentence.

  • The engineers that put the Apollo program together are the definition of badass. Building thousands and thousands of components working together simultaneously and flawlessly every time (cept 13) . The fact that it was put together in under a decade blows my mind too!

  • but 13 could of been far worse, the actual odds of getting back alive from that situation was actually quite staggering,it demonstrated that they were true experts and could rectify a very bad situation flawlessly 'failure is not an option'

  • The russians had already resigned at the moment of 11, because their missiles exploded on launch, so why make a fake and then a true mission only 4 months later? It's a nonsense.

Moreover, nobody has ever demonstrated how to make a fake with the movie technologies of sixties! Look for the high quality pics and video of 11, it's absolutly impossibile to fake them!

  • Duh Kubrick was already making fakes... u must be young. Go watch 2001: A Space Odyssey. That was made during this time. And few ppl knew that the Russian N-1 rockets were failing. Ur points on this matter are all moot.

  • no you dont you weirdo, your little mind cant take such things in,fact is ct,s are so devoid of human achivement that anything so good cant be possible so you imagine this giant epic film set with technology that lets face it must have been godlike to produce mountains of that size.grow up,do some revision on the subject, purchase the dvd boxsets and discover reality,it will open your mind up to the true wonder of project apollo

  • firefoxikk the apollo landing sites have been photographed by the LRO you can see them on google or U tube, the landings were real as advertised

  • really can you see the lunar module of apollo 11? in complete detail so you know 100 percent what you are looking at? because if you can see a shot of the module from at least 300 meters away (which doesn't exist) then you could tell. I know what one you are talking about and trust me it doesn't show anything that resembles anything like a module. I think we possibly went to the moon but those photos you speak of show nothing.

  • FalterVayne one thing is clear is that the tracks left in the lunar soil (from rover) is apparent, and are where they are supposed to be located.

  • no once again good sir you are wrong, do me a favor why don't you find the picture taken from a satellite ( the one you are talking about) and drop a link back here for me... if you can show me the picture "FROM A SATELLITE" I will admit that you are right... trust me man I look at Space pictures, Soho, Sterero, Mars rover, and space videos all day...

Please post the photo any photo that shows any sign, Via. tread marks from the rover or modules and I will say you are right..

  • FalterVayne while it's quite absurd to argue the validity of Apollo, as the world knows they are real, the Lunar recon orbiter has photographed most landing sites as an aside to its mission, and the sites are as advertised and the landing were real as advertised to say otherwise really is quite inane.

  • runnermonkey yes theLRO has produced pix of the sites plus other equipment and yes in the pix you can see the tracks left from the lunar rover, odd that some folks just can't understand the reality of truth in the apollo efforts.

  • @starview1 So you can't find the picture then? well thanks for wasting my time and also failing on your side of the arguement...

I shall pass on this subject do to a failing of production of evidence that was supposed to be provided very easily by the user "starview1" I simply asked for a link by personal email or by posting it publicly on this video page here, both he did not comply to which means "there is no pictures showing the Apollo 11 Lunar module or any apollo "tracks" "

  • FalterVayne There are pix that display the activity of apollo and the launch base that of course remains on the moon, easy to find as was mentioned by others just googlr Lunar recon orbiter images, what more could be explained as of course the events of American Activity on the moon was /is real.

  • @starview1

The photo you sent was the one that I was exactly talking about on my earlier post here, it is either one or all of the following and has already been discussed and found to be a photo of:

the lines you see can be attributed to many things, one being crust displacement from an asteroid or comet impact which causes the crust to crack and rise then become covered with dust particles as the impact zone settles back down. 1/2

  • @starview1 another theory is the lines you see are caused by once flowing rivers or liquid water streams, barely breaking the surface for only a moments time in history. Similar events can be seen on the surface of mars they are called mineral deposit ejections and are caused after dust storms or once again crust displacement.

the final theory which is the most plausible one is "pyroclastic deposits", which is caused by

  • @starview1 1. Asteroid or comet impact

    2. #1 + crust displacement

3 #1 and #2 and mineral / water ejections from water flow or streams (which would explain the lake looking parts as well)

    4. #1 and #2 and #3 as well as pyroclastic deposits caused by extreme heat, melting and vaporizing liquids as well as upsetting the ground until the initial impact is done and the dust settles as a new form of soil is made from the fusion of elements as provided by heat usually being dark gray or black.

  • Official vehicle to find water on moon= Lunar Prospector found there existed water on the moon. In 1998,

  • @starview1 thank you for the information I wasn't aware of that. I always knew the moon had water, it doesn't take a genius to know that. also I have a suspicion that the moon has an atmosphere, it is just a theory however I believe there is a strong possibility there is one no matter how faint it is.

  • FalterVayne the moon is an odd thing for sure, and while it has no atmosphere of any significance, I suppose vented gas from the moon my linger a bit, but float away of course as the moons gravity is so weak it cannot maintain any such traditional atmosphere, but maybe a few parts of some gas per trillian trillian cubic meters of space, and as such quite insignificant and uneffectual, deep craters may contain anysuch gas a bit longer, and that too will float away

  • @runnermonkey yep...let's spread the word

    nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/news/apollo-sites.html

  • you are not convinced of a god damn thing you stupid idiot.

  • No. The Russians were years away from a moon landing, no reason to fake the first one. None.

  • CONGRATULATIONS IAFASTRO

  • The s4b is used to boost the spacecraft to orbit, and to provide enough delta-v to get to the moon. On the way to the moon the LM is extracted and the s4b is jettisoned. The CSM's motor then slows down the spacecraft enough to enter lunar orbit where the LM makes it's descent. The CSM's motor cannot slow down the spacecraft enough if the s4b is switched on and left on till it burns out. The spacecraft would reach the moon in one day instead of three, but it will shoot straight past.

  • Some folks need to brush up on their reading and comprehension skills before posting a comment.

  • Awesome video. Never seen it before.

  • that's amazing!

  • that xlr99 obviously does not understand propulsion in a vacuum which after all is what space is

  • the way i see it is if you cant you use your senses as they are designed its not a real experience, like sex with and with out condom

  • The Saturn V rocket CAN'T maintain a full power all the way to the moon. Engine light up from take off to orbit, than light up to get free from earth gravity, than to slow down to stay in lunar orbit, again to get free of lunar orbit, again to slow down, and landing.

  • there must have been enough fuel, because you know why??...they landed on the moon! duhhhhhh..only jelous little scroats would deny the fact, fact fact fact fuckety fact!!

  • There's not enough fuel to keep the power on all the way to the moon AND slow down to make lunar orbit. The space shuttle can't go to the moon because there's not enough fuel to reach the escape velocity. it can 'only' do 18000mph ;)

  • clearly you dont understand that once in space you no longer need to keep accelerating as there is no friction with anything

  • The Earth exerts enough gravitational pull on the spacecraft so that it eventually slows to a speed just under 3000 mph. Shortly thereafter, the spacecraft enters the moon's sphere of influence and speeds up again, slightly, before lunar orbit is achieved.

  • Also, given the slower speed of the craft, you have to travel via a "Great Circle" trajectory (as planes do) and where the target is a moving object.

You have to set off and aim for the point an orbiting object will reach at the time of your arrival.

  • @iafastro Earth being a "moving object" doesnt matter here at all because the moon moves together with the earth. Only the movement of the moon around the earth counts somewhat due to a tiny centrifugal force.

  • @iafastro wauw, what a smart guy you are :o thumbs up! :) ow no...pushed the wrong button...:( didn't mean to...i'm sorry :(

  • @seedubyu They don't travel at 25,000 mph on the trajectory to the moon. That velocity is achieved only on the orbit around the Earth and during re-entry. On the way to Moon the velocity is much more slower and is not constant. It depends on the gravitational forces applied to the spacecraft by Earth-Moon system at different points in space. It's complex to compute.

  • @seedubyu You're absolutely right, because as everybody knows the rocket reaches that speed instantaneously without having to accelerate and then doesn't have to decelerate at the other end or anything cause it just crashes harmlessly into the moon at that speed and moves in straight lines the whole fucking trip ... dunderhead!

  • Comment removed

  • @seedubyu

They DON'T travel at a constant velocity of 25,000 mph you idiot, the Eart's gravity slows them down A LOT on the way there, plus they are not going in a straight line.

Christ educate yourself, I knew this shit when I was 9 years old.

  • @seedubyu 25000 is reentry speed, not travel speed.

  • I am a fan of Apollo 15 Fourth Moon Landing and I really enjoy seeing David R. Scott and James B. Irwin become the first U.S. Astronauts to operate a Lunar Rover Vechile.
