its funny cos i felt the same thing for a long time RIP (Double 99) takes elements from 24 hr ex, booker t, tuff jam and dem 2. Basically all the top producers and its why I struggled to identify many of their tracks. great stuff!!

NO WAY!! I think RIP have a very unique sound which ultimately gets cast into one of three sub catigories: 1 Bassline Pressure (WER, RIP Groove etc) 2 Bumpy (this nd countless other remixes they have done) and 3, their Deep Dubs- Oh Baby, Obsessed... All very distinctive and recognisable amost straight off...
