  • there is risk of Reye's syndrome in case of varicella zoster virus and influenza virus infection but not in streptococcal infection@ buro1985

  • it should not be given to child with viral fever because of the Reye´s syndrome, but maybe you can give it to him, when you´re sure its bacterial (= it´s migratory) .. not sure though-- I have found this: Current advice in the United Kingdom by the Committee on Safety of Medicines is that aspirin should not be given to those under the age of 16 years, unless specifically indicated in Kawasaki disease or in the prevention of blood clot formation

  • not everybody is born with skills,good lectures. thanks for sharing your skills with the world but aspirin should not be given to children due to some complication so is it possible to give a high dose aspirin?
