beautiful driving style from markko, very smooth, perfect for that generation of WRC car. dont know if anyone else has watched the mcrae onboards? the style is so different, can see why colin was not as fast in 2005 compared to his group A days when the cars needed alot of moving around.
The best Estonian rally driver so far. I like his driving style, real smooth. I'd love to see Markko's comeback to big league but I'm afraid it won't happen..

Ouninpohja is way to fast for todays rallying. The cars has an average speed of over 133 km/h.I think 130km/h is the limit FIA has! I think it was driven though in 2008 but the other way. SS 16 or something like that.. Kakaristo.. I dont know if the drove the entire stage backwards but ive seen some parts from the classical Ouninpohja :D!

i remember markko saying after ouninpohja stage that he had somekind electronic problem on the car, electric diffs didint work so he had to come to into the legendary jumps on that stage with full throttle or else the car would have flyed to the trees. and that jump record holds still in this day
Markko is one of the few rally drivers who have conquered Rally Finland, the fastest special stage rally in the world. This in car explains why. Yes. We miss Markko and Beef.
He is pretty much a finn. Estonians always have been pretty closely related to the finns

What happened with that stage?, I think this stage was not run in 2009-2008.

these were the times
drivers like Mäkinen, Burns, Sainz, McRae, Solberg, Loeb, Märtin, Grönholm all in or near their prime. WRC has gone downhill from there
