  • hey mate was it completely stock in this video or just really minor work like, overbore, extractors etc ?

  • here it has std manifold, 650 d/p holley, extractors and +60 thou. everything else is std. crank, rods, pistons, heads, rockers, springs etc all std. it is the same engine now just added tunnel ram with twin carbs.

  • ohk, wat did it pull in this video at the tyres?

  • unfortunately the dyno played up that day and didnt give me an accurate HP, but it gave 440Nm torque. thatks for the interest mate.

  • yeah compltely stock is rated at 427Nm, i heard somewhere that 308's sit in lj lc toranas without too much work?

  • yeah steering column, engine mounts, modify sump or buy hi-volume, 253 is allowed to go straight in, 308 requires a chassis kit to be licenced.

  • oh right, cheers buddy

  • How much hp the stocky 308 make on the dyno?.

and how much hp are you shooting for with the 355?

  • ive been told that i sshould expect 500hp+ its the come racing setup with twin 650 d/p holleys, the stocky has probably about 250 but im not to sure how accurate it was but it has 440n/m of torque which is quite a bit for a stocky.

  • What heads are you going to use on the stroker?

  • ive actually got stage 3 yella terra b cast heads that im getting worked on a bit more to do the job.

  • the power to weight ratio would be awsome in that car mate. have ya put the 355 stroker in yet?

  • nah not yet ive just got a tunnel ram for it so shouldnt be long now.

  • ohhhhhh mate that gives me goosebumps listening to that.

  • Hey mate whats the colour called?

  • well the paint is actually only a metallic agricultural enamel, just for simplicity on touchups around wheel arches etc, so i dont know if it is available in acrylic or not but... its called "traffic light green" dont know if that helps at all but looks great on the car!! lol

  • mmm , meaty , whats the deal on putting a v8 in the late torana model? is that one on the road?

  • they actually fit straight in, extractors are a bit difficult but we got them there. the torana is only a burnout car, and the power to wieght ratio is what i was looking for. plus im a big holden/torana/v8 fan. cheers for the comment

  • if that bloody steering colum was a bit better placed it would be such an easy conversion. i've just done the colum mod in mine, motor is ready to go in.
